We were a party of 4 adults and the service was great. The not-so-good part of our dining experience was after dinner we went by taxi straight back to our hotel where immediately upon our arrival 2 of us who had the same meal were down with stomach issues for the rest of the night. Considering where we had been early in the day and how we got ill right after dining at Marzola Parilla Argentina, no doubt exists in our minds our stomach issues were from eating here. With the assistance of our hotel front desk staff, we reported our experience to the Panamanian Food Agency (APA) a local food safety health department. We were interviewed by the APA about all the places we had eaten and drank the day we became sick and both us and the APA inspector concluded our stomach issues were most probably caused by what we were served at Marzola Parrilla Argentina. As much as we loved the atmosphere, flavor of our food, and the high-quality level of service we received from the staff when we dined here, we will never eat here again....
Read moreWe didn't have the opportunity to try the food, the host seated at our table at 7:50 pm, the server asked for drinks and we ordered 2 Fernet with coke. After that we waited for more than 1 hour and nobody came to our table to ask about additional drinks or if we wanted to order food. After an hour, we had to stand up and ask for the check at the bar. The place was almost empty. Only 4 more tables had guest at that time. There was one host, and 2 servers. Turns out that our server was watching a soccer game I don't recommend this place. Worst service ever. I asked for the manager, and he didn't even apologize or offer something to compensate for the bad service. He just mentioned that they were with the impression that we don't want food. But the reality is nobody asked. And we finished our drinks, and waited more that 20 minutes with our glass empty and they didn't came to ask for additional drinks or if we are ok. If you want to have a good experience dinning in casco viejo. Just go to a...
Read moreWe got dropped off in this neighborhood and started walking around. We decided we’d check out this Argentinian steak place for dinner. It didn’t disappoint. The staff were beyond friendly. The atmosphere is very relaxed and people walk by on the sidewalk right next to the open windows. There is no WiFi so entertain each other and enjoy the place. We started with the grilled cheese. Don’t hesitate to get this. They bring bread and some sort of garlic spread that’s like nothing I’ve ever had. Delicious. We each had a ribeye steak and they were cooked exactly as ordered. My buddy tried the fried green tomatoes as a side and I would do that if I ever went back. We just drank wine and beer here so can’t comment on any specialty drinks. The music playlist was awesome and they even showed us what it was. Don’t be surprised if you can’t get in right away. It is...
