I am writing this after our third visit to Bunnu. The food has been consistently delicious with fresh ingredients and well thought out flavor/texture combinations. The empanadas are made with a nice crust to filling ratio which may differ from an Argentine or Chilean one. I suppose that makes them Peruvian empanadas and I would eat them every day. The meat and pollo curry empanadas are worth trying as are the vegetable and queso Andino if you are a vegetarian. The sandwiches were a real surprise as they differ from the usual offerings and are a bit more innovative. We tried them all and couldn’t give you a favorite. Best deal is to get the Junior Combo and you can try both empanadas and a choice of sandwich. Staff is friendly and attentive (Diego is awesome). The space is welcoming, clean, and they offer indoor and outdoor (though still enclosed) seating. Wi-Fi...

I recently visited a coffee shop in Cusco, Peru, and had an absolutely delightful experience. I tried the café mocha, veggie sandwich, pollo empanadas, and a croissant—all of which were incredibly tasty. The food here is top-notch, with fresh ingredients and great flavors.

The service was excellent, with friendly and attentive staff who made sure I had everything I needed. What really stood out to me was the ambience—there’s a wonderful organic vibe throughout the space, and it’s beautifully set up. The place is surprisingly spacious, offering a relaxing environment where you can unwind and enjoy your meal. Highly recommend this spot if...

Bunnu had the best empanadas and the best americano that we found during our short 2 weeks in Cusco. We ended up going there almost every morning. The family that runs it is incredibly kind and genuine and dedicated to perfecting their business. Brian speaks excellent English but was also patient and helpful when I wanted to practice my rusty Spanish instead. Their prices are fair and their hours are long. The Lomo Saltado Empanadas were so good we bought extras every time we left the city. Bunnu will always have a place in my fond memories of...

We have visited this cafe few times over our stay, once for a breakfast and then we grabbed some take away empanadas. Empanadas were delicious and very affordable (it costs around 4 soles per piece depending on the filling). We had some scrambled eggs in the bun for breakfast, it was way too salty for our liking but yet tasty. Coffee was not more than alright. Staff is very friendly, helpful, mainly Spanish speaking. You can pay here by card. They have nice seating area as well. They quite a lot of dessert options and sweet buns.

This is an excellent cafe. It is very reasonably priced and the staff are helpful and attentive. There are plenty of options on the menu for savoury items including tasty empanadas. It’s also open late at night if you want to get a dessert. There are multiple tables available and there’s an undercover brightly lit courtyard, which a nice place to spend a couple of hours Recommend: chili and chicken empanada, alfajor, lemon meringue pie
