We have been twice here and the first night the dinner service was good and we left a good tip. Price is well balanced for the food amount and quality. The chefs work hard which you can observe.
On the next day we had lunch and were rather shocked at the poor service we received. We are a friendly couple all smiles and trying our best to learn the lingo. Serving at the time was A man (not the same from the night before) and a woman - very inattentive. Serving others that arrived after us. Cleaning tables still not having even asked us what drinks we would like. After 17min i think the man over heard me when I said to my partner that we would leave in 5 if we are still not approached. We both had a club sandwich. My partner specifically requested not to have any tomatoes in it. She had repeated the instruction and written it down. Yet still they were in it. The club sandwich was on the dry side - sources where on small dish (literally a tea spoon of each that we would have had to share). We both rated it average and have had much better before. We decided not to...
Read moreI had a wonderful dining experience at Sepia shortly after arriving in Cusco. Given the significant change in elevation, I wasn’t feeling my best, but my waitress Adriana went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. She kindly helped me choose something light and suitable for my stomach, and I ended up ordering the Pollo Adobado y Fritos con Sabores Andinos — it was absolutely delicious, flavorful, and beautifully presented.
To help with the altitude sickness, Adriana also brought me a type of aromatic mint tea, which was both soothing and tasty. It truly made a difference.
Although I was dining alone, the entire staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and warm — a perfect place to relax and recover after a long day of travel.
Highly recommend this spot, especially for travelers adjusting to Cusco’s altitude. Exceptional service, thoughtful care, and fantastic food!

Read moreToday I am here to share with you my experience at the Sapia restaurant! I went with friends last night for dinner before catching our bus! And it was the worst restaurant experience I had in Peru! We arrived at 7:50 p.m., and we simply ordered alpaca a la plancha and Bolognese pasta, dishes that were quite quick to prepare, but we waited more than an hour before we decided to leave because we were going to miss our bus. ! We therefore asked for a doggy bag so that we can still have our meal when it is ready! And that’s a shame, no commercial gesture when paying and they even made us pay for the doggy bag! The organization of this restaurant is catastrophic, especially in the kitchen. Travellers' note, don't go there if you are in a hurry and don't have a lot of money to spend because the product is excessive for smaller quantities! I strongly...
