SUSHINCARIO — Restaurant in Distrito de Cusco

I feel bad for leaving this review but it needs to be said. We went to this place based on the great reviews. The service was very good and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, the food was very bland, we ordered 6 or 7 different rolls and all of them lacked flavours except the one with ceviche on top. Also because everything has cream cheese in it, all the rolls taste kind of the same and bland, I cannot stress enough how tasteless everyone was. My partner and I have had sushi all over the world and unfortunately this was the least tasty and most bland sushi we've ever had. Both my partner and I walked out of the the restaurant really disappointed. Again I feel bad for leaving this review as they seemed really nice, but the food was not good 😔 I am not sure how they have so many good reviews on the food 🤔

A very good sushi place. Both the service and the sushi was really great - and tasty! This lovely couple serves sushi (with trout) and ramen. We had different options of sushi, like combos or single type ones. We were out with friends who only eat vegetarian. The owners didn't hesitate to make the sushi completely vegetarian - or even vegan, so nice and attentive. Also we asked for California rolls (not on the card) and the chef did made them too. During the wait you can play Jenga if you want to, to enjoy your time. They have good soy sauce and wasabi too! Trust me this is an important info :P

We didn't have ramen but a person next to us had some and they looked delicious too. Definitely a go, if you want a change of food in between.

There is always a reason to be sad to leave a city and not being able to come to Sushincario is why I am so sad to leave Cusco. As soon as you enter this amazing place you become part of the family playing games, chatting, and most importantly eating the INCREDIBLE food. I have come here almost everyday not just because of the price (which is amazing - S/15 for 10 pieces of the highest quality sushi) but due to the incredible service. It feels like coming home after a long day and being able to relax and destress over amazing company and wonderful food. I cannot recommend this place enough and I hope you enjoy it as much as I have. This is THE culinary epitome of soul food and good times. Thank you for everything!!! Los dos...
