My group of friends and I wanted to attend Amador on a Wednesday night, so a friend messaged them via Instagram requesting a table as they do not take walk ins. They informed her that they were fully booked but that seemed a bit odd so I then went and messaged them requesting a booking at the same time and they had a table available! Same amount of people, same time and same day, yet they offered me a table and not her. They then however sent a follow up message detailing their entry rules, one of which was an age restriction of 30+. Nobody in our group is over 30 years old, yet several of us had attended the bar before... I messaged them asking if this was a new rule and without actually answering my question they replied with a totally conceited response stating that their "concept" is aimed at an audience of over 30 years old and that they "want all our guests to enjoy an experience in harmony with the space." Whether this bar considers my brain so underdeveloped that I wouldn't be able enjoy it's high concept ideas is (surprisingly) not the main problem here. It's that they seemingly pick and choose who they grant bookings to either at random or more likely extremely selectively. The only way to make a booking here is via social media as they do not have a website or take walk ins. So considering they denied my friend a table and then went and made up some rule about the bar having an age restriction of 30+ for me, I'm assuming they take a look at whatever account you are using to make the booking and decide whether you fit their vibe, or as they would call it their "concept" and grant you a booking...
Read moreThe worst place in Lima...so this is an abandoned building from the 2000s that wanted to be "exclusive" ?? Expensive drinks, the worst host girl you could ever imagined, overrated drinks, like a stella artois beer 25 soles that is 7 fkn dollars! Cusqueña beer 23 soles hahaha...the best: Bartenders are friendly and respectful !! but those protocols and service attendants? The worst! You are NOT allowed to drink where ever you want, you have to have a reservartion of a table or box, you cannot have a drink alone, no you are not allowed, you have to belong to a table. So, in Lima this kind of places last...too little...moreover in San...
