I stumbled upon Artidoro Rodriguez Café in Miraflores while searching for another coffee shop, but what a happy accident it turned out to be! The owner’s gregarious personality drew me in when he invited me to try some Peruvian coffee, and after just a small taster, I was hooked. He even dropped by my table to chat and share his deep love for coffee.
The service was absolutely top-notch, with Ghoty, one of the waitstaff, standing out for her incredible attentiveness and warm demeanor. When I asked for a recommendation, she suggested the Villa Rica, and wow that one was phenomenal. The coffee had bright, crisp notes of green apple and grape, perfectly balanced with a subtle chocolate undertone. Very, very tasty.

Read moreHad a terrible experience here recently. Came in around 12:45 PM, ordered a latte and croissant - both were delivered to around 12:50. Then literally five minutes later they come to my table and tell me they have a team meeting and the customers need to leave, but that I could return in an hour. Seriously?
I then had to ask for a credit of some kind, because it wasn't offered, to which they knocked off ~10%. Good customer service would've comped my whole purchase.
I came there to work for a while but instead had to quickly eat and drink my stuff.
