Milenaria Cafe — Restaurant in Lima Metropolitan Area

came for asai bowl, but they didn’t have asai bowl. vibe ; just like normal cafe, mediocre. musics are not too loud but they are not very quiet musics. pop/rock musics.

food; flat white, smaller than i expect, bigger than espresso smaller than cappuccino.(usual size) taste is not perfect but still good enough for price.

yogurt: small size for one person. mango, strawberry, blueberries are fruit. it was a bit too sweet for me. syrup can be less.

banana bread: i saw reviews that it was warm, for me it was not. it is pretty delicious, not amazing(maybe i was expect more by reviews)

carpese sandwich; it’s pretty good! it’s not freshy - salady taste or something like that, more like grilled - cheesy type. quantitu is enough for one person, it youre not hungry enough for share two person

foods served pretty fast, i liked that. not much people around 2pm during the days. i wish yogurt was less sweeter and wish i could tried asai bowl. all was about 50 sole, which is not cheap but still i’m mediocre satisfied. lol

I have really bad experience with this restaurant. I ordered menu with americano included, but i wanted to pay extra 2 soles for capuccino, what was the difference between this two coffees. The waitress asked the owner, who refuse to do this. So i got an americano, but i was charged extra 3 soles for milk. At the end i paid more money for coffee i didn’t want than for the capuccino. The waitress also asked me what kind of eggs i want. I ordered scrambled eggs and when i checked the check then, i realized that the way of preparation of eggs is also an extra cost. I really don’t think that this is the way of service, which can be provided in this kind of “luxurios” restaurants. The waitress was really nice to us, so i think this is the problem...

Went to this cafe on Sunday. A shame it prioritises orders for delivery over customers in the cafe.

My girlfriend finished her plate of food before mine even arrived, no doubt due to staff being too busy rushing to get orders out for delivery riders.

No interaction from staff apart from when they took our orders or dropped our food. Had to get up to pay ourselves. Again, no doubt due to delivery order pressures.

The constant sound of duct-tape being unwrapped to seal bags for delivery also really detracts from the ambiance in this small space.

The food itself was nice, but a little pricey for what it was. Worth trying somewhere else over here, particularly...
