My partner and I came here for a late night snack on a Saturday night (after 2100h) in early November. We ordered an appetizer (tequeños de lomito saltado s/28); a soup (sopa a la criolla con carn s/25); and two dessert crepes (crepe de naranja y queso s/26 and crepe suchard s/26). We ordered all four dishes at the same time, but thinking that they would bring them out in a logical order. We were served the crepe suchard (which has ice cream) first. A few minutes later, the soup came out, promptly followed by the appetizer rolls. And then a minute later the last dessert crepe came out. Overall the food was good, but the experience was dampened because the food all came out at once. The crepes would have tasted better had we gotten to eat it "when it was fresh", instead of with half melted ice cream because it was sitting there while I was eating the soup and appetizer first.

Café de la Paz is a charming restaurant in Miraflores, Peru that offers a variety of artisan beers and a delicious take on the butifarra. The restaurant is located in a historic building with a cozy and inviting atmosphere. In addition to the butifarra, Café de la Paz also offers a variety of other Peruvian dishes, such as ceviche, lomo saltado, and aji de gallina. The restaurant also has a wide selection of artisan beers, including many from local Peruvian breweries. If you are looking for a delicious and authentic Peruvian meal, I highly recommend Café de la Paz. The food is excellent, the service is friendly, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting.

The interior was dated. My wife said it looked like a neglected chifa. The food was mediocre. My wife's BLT was uninspired but the bread was good. It could have been more evenly toasted. My croque was much better however it was on the back of the menu and wasn't a combo meal and my coffee was billed separately while I thought the coffee was going to be included. Not a biggie. Our coffee came well after our meal. With so many other options, I don't think we'll return. It was a forgettable experience at best.

6 months ago I have tried the causa de mariscos in Café la Paz Miraflores, and I found a hair in my meal, I complained about it and they offered me a Coffe!!! to sort it out the issue, then, I came back 6 months later 24august 2023, and oh surprise, I requested for another causa de mariscos And I found another long black hair!!!! After waiters discussion looking at my table, they desided to offered me another coffee. My review will be, the place it's complete over rated, for what they offer, there are waaaay better places around than Cafe la Paz, I want all turist from different countries to get to know that there are better places than this one, I came all the way from South Africa to visit my family and eat what supposed to be the best food, but definitely not in this restaurant. Good service to say they are sorry, average meals. Please go somewhere else to...
