My partner and I came here for a late night snack on a Saturday night (after 2100h) in early November. We ordered an appetizer (tequeños de lomito saltado s/28); a soup (sopa a la criolla con carn s/25); and two dessert crepes (crepe de naranja y queso s/26 and crepe suchard s/26).
We ordered all four dishes at the same time, but thinking that they would bring them out in a logical order. We were served the crepe suchard (which has ice cream) first. A few minutes later, the soup came out, promptly followed by the appetizer rolls. And then a minute later the last dessert crepe came out.
Overall the food was good, but the experience was dampened because the food all came out at once. The crepes would have tasted better had we gotten to eat it "when it was fresh", instead of with half melted ice cream because it was sitting there while I was eating the soup and...
Read more6 months ago I have tried the causa de mariscos in Café la Paz Miraflores, and I found a hair in my meal, I complained about it and they offered me a Coffe!!! to sort it out the issue, then, I came back 6 months later 24august 2023, and oh surprise, I requested for another causa de mariscos And I found another long black hair!!!! After waiters discussion looking at my table, they desided to offered me another coffee. My review will be, the place it's complete over rated, for what they offer, there are waaaay better places around than Cafe la Paz, I want all turist from different countries to get to know that there are better places than this one, I came all the way from South Africa to visit my family and eat what supposed to be the best food, but definitely not in this restaurant.
