Restaurant Piso 21 in Lima… oh, what a mixed bag. Let's start with the absolute highlight: the views. Wow. Just wow. Being that high up, overlooking the city and the ocean, it's truly breathtaking. It's the kind of view that makes you want to linger, to soak it all in. And the staff? Absolutely fantastic. Everyone was incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming. They made me feel comfortable and were eager to help with anything I needed. Honestly, the service was top-notch. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. The drinks were a real letdown. I ordered a cocktail that sounded delicious on the menu, but it was weak and poorly balanced. It felt like they were skimping on the ingredients. And the food? Another disappointment. I had high hopes, given the location and the price point, but the dishes were bland and uninspired. It felt like they were relying on the view to compensate for the lack of culinary creativity. The quality of the ingredients didn't seem to match the prices. It's a shame, because the potential is there. With such amazing views and such great staff, Piso 21 could be a truly exceptional restaurant. But the drinks and the food need a serious overhaul. If you're looking for a place to enjoy a stunning view of Lima, Piso 21 is worth a visit. Just don't expect too much from the drinks or the food. Maybe stick to bottled beer or wine and have a small snack. It's a view you won't forget, even if the meal is...
Read moreMy wife and I had a bad dinner experience at this restaurant. The food wasn’t what we expected at all; A. We had to send back our cheese hamburgers because they were raw. B. Fries weren’t crispy. C. We wanted to ordered 3 different plates in which they didn’t have in the kitchen, instead we had to order cheeseburgers in which they did have their food storage D. I think that the chief had the night off and his assistance cooked the food which turned out to be awful tasting. E.The ONLY highlight of our experience were the 3 amazing staff members (1-male and 2-female.) that served us and they were great !!! The Dessert was just above average in which they gave us as a complimentary dessert as an apology. What they should of done was to pick up our check but they didn’t. And my wife came back to our room only to get sick. Me, I feel a little nauseous. We will never go eat dinner there again. Trust me it wasn’t worth the $213.00 Soles that we had to pay. I just hope that someone needs to be held...
Read moreRestaurante Piso 21 offers a delightful culinary experience with some room for improvement. The food was absolutely amazing—every dish was flavorful and beautifully presented, showcasing the best of Peruvian cuisine. However, the service started off a bit slow; it took quite some time for our order to be taken.
Once we got past that, everything else went smoothly. Our waitress was incredibly nice and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. As for the drinks, the chicha morada was a bit overly sweet for my taste, but it was still enjoyable and complemented the meal.
The ambiance was warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot to enjoy a meal with family. Overall, despite the initial delay, it was a great dining experience, and I’d definitely recommend it for its outstanding food and...
