Update 26/02/2024 It is obvious that Pardo's is my favorite restaurant in Peru. Every time we visit we always stop in for the best rotisserie chicken in Peru. We have been here for three weeks and have dined at Pardos 6 times. Pisco Sours are always on point. (I like mine extra sweet and ask for them that way). My wife has become a fan of the Maracuya Sour. As the drinks keep flowing we order Taquenos Brasa and Anticichos. For dinner we usually order 2 1/2 to 3 chickens with the fries and salad combo. We order Coffee and postres depending upon availability. The service is great. We always ask for Marco because we have come to know him from previous visits. Eugene is our second choice as he is very attentive and helpful. Alex provided acceptable service when Marco and Eugene were off. Update 16/08/2023 Another great experience at Pardos Chicken. If you are in Lima, you must plan on coming here for THE BEST ROTISSERIE CHICKEN IN PERU! I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. I am visiting Peru for 3 weeks, and I have been here 3 times. Thank you, Marco & Alberto, for the excellent service. We have never been disappointed with the service. Best to come after 3pm Location, location, location. Skip the beach and come here! I don't know what happened, but my experience at this location blew my past experience out of the water. The chicken was excellent. The pisco sours (2 for 1) delicious. The sides- perfect. Why go any place else? We were one of three tables at 6:00 pm. That could be the trick. What an amazing experience! Thank...
Read moreThis was my last meal of Peru. A lot of my Peruvian friends go here as their first meal upon arrival. So I knew the hype was big. We started off ordering Chicha Morada as a drink. For the main course we ordered the 1/2 Encamotada Premium which had fries, sweet potato fries and cooked salad. As for the chicken the pieces were a breast and a thigh. We also ordered the 1/4 Arrocero Premium which had fries, rice and Russian Salad. I had an option of breast or leg, I chose breast. Overall the food was amazing, great flavor and big portions. The downside was the service. We were sitting on the 2nd floor with 3 tables of 20+. The large parties were just getting seating but didn’t start ordering because all of the party was not there yet. The staff just lost their composure and really didn’t know what to do. Our server left for 20 minutes and between that time we asked 3 employees for the check. They acknowledged us but didn’t do anything until a 4th employee finally helped us. Food was really nice, service was good in the 1st part but the 2nd part was...
Read moreOur tour guide from Mountain Lodges of Peru recommended this restaurant to us, specifically to try their pollos la brasa, and we were super happy that we did!
Me and my girlfriend shared 1/2 a chicken with fries and salad as our sides, and you can't go wrong with some Inca kola to wash it down with.
Our server Alberto was amazing, providing us with fast and friendly service and also the WiFi password.
The chicken was super flavourful, tender and juicy. They were also very generous on the quantity of the fries, and the salad was super fresh specifically the tomatoes.
The staff spoke decent English, so I highly recommend that you...
