Cuy Chef — Restaurant in Machu Picchu

If you’re wondering around this area, I really recommend you check out this wonderful pizzeria Kuy Chef. we tried up variety from their menu even some of their Mexican food. I was not expecting to try Mexican food in Peru, but the little taquitos with the guacamole that they had was actually really very good stuffed with cheese and the guacamole was very tasty. We came during happy hour. You can get two for one or three for one if you prefer. Everything was fantastic. The margarita was surprisingly good in Peru. The owner treated us like royalty and she was very kind and very supportive. She made sure that all of our food was to our liking and her drinks that she brought out were phenomenal. Good music, bad restaurant. We had to wait way too long for our pizza (we ordered one medium pizza). The plates were dirty and we never even got some of the drinks we ordered after asking politely many times. The pizza was mediocre at best and they even tried to make us pay more by putting "service" on the bil for 7 soles which is basically just them giving themselves a tip while providing terrible service. We had a blast if this location had us a seat right there on the street so that we could watch the traffic cause people walked up and down the street. The food was amazing. They had games that we could play. We were in no rush. We had a great time and had a lot of wonderful drinks.
