Cafe La Meilleure — Restaurant in Angeles

We went to this restaurant several times. At first we thought it was good and interesting. But then I discovered the brutal videos. Animals are shot. In a brutal way. The shooters are happy. Apparently Americans. No great feat with a telescopic sight and a precision rifle. Then they miss half the mark and the animals have to die a painful death. Simply horrible in a restaurant where you want to drink coffee or have a nice meal. I used to be a precision shooter myself. Cardboard targets were enough for me. I didn't have to get excited about the death of innocent animals. The restaurant has become off limits for us. It could be the best place...

I admit I have high standards regarding food. Breakfast was ok, coffee was passable. Decided it was worth a second visit so I went back for dinner and well...I ordered grilled pork chop and it looked amazing but it was half cooked and the mashed potatoes sucked big time. Better food options elsewhere if you have certain standards. Choose the sofas because the chairs have very low backrest making them super uncomfortable for longer stays. Maybe I was just unlucky but my beer tasted like they...

Great food and lots of breakfast options. Price compensates the tasty food. And since the food serve are freshly cooked, you need to wait for at least 15mins before it's serve. But I can assure you, it's worth the wait.

So why 4 and not 5? Besides the wait, comfort rooms are not for me. Don't get me wrong, they're clean. But they make claustrophobic like me sooo very dead. Like their AC, dead!

Overall, loved the food, not so with the service. But I'll come back to try...
