Food is not special and poor customer service. My workmate and I thought of sharing in one meal because we figured we cannot finish that too big of a combo meal. We were 4 in the table and my 2 other workmates ordered their individual meals.
When I asked for an extra rice (as our meal includes unli rice), just one extra rice for the shared meal, the staff said "ma'am magbabayad kayo ng 20 ah".
When I asked why, the staff said "syempre nagshare kayo (in an insulting tone)." She goes on by saying, no sharing po kasi dito mam and nahuli kayo sa CCTV sa office ( we were like ok, we're not even hiding the fact that we're sharing). So i asked, where in the menu or any signage in the resto is "no sharing" posted? She cant answer and said that the cashier should have said it. But the cashier did not say anything, othewise we would have not been surprised.
When I paid for the additional 20 they want to charge us for sharing, it turns out they do not even have such kind of fee. They instead put in the bill "additional rice". So it means that they dont even have that no sharing rule yet as evidenced by the lack of receipt for such fee.
But say they really have that rule and we just did not hear the cashier mention it, the way we were informed about the charge was unbelievably insulting as if we can't pay their meals. The staff could have informed us more politely of the additional charge, it is not an issue. I'll be more than willing to pay even the equivalent price of that one whole meal had we been advised...

2 stars because of the very rude staff. They did not talk to us in a good manner. Plus they punched in the wrong order. But even⁸ though they gave our original order they did not correct what was in our bill and miscalculated our change. When I raised it to the cashier, the cashier did not believe me and still insisted that they gave the correct change. Eventually she just recalculated and gave us still the incorrect change, still not reflected in what our bill should be. We just stormed out as we ran out of patience. The cashier chased us as we exited the restaurant and insisted that we return the change as she thinks she did not make a mistake. When I corrected her once again she rudely shouted at us " Tao lang po, God Bless po".
Aside the from that, not one of the staff were wearing face masks despite signs at the restaurant that masks are required.
Too bad since the food was great and the place looks great as well but being treated as if we are not customers is not...
Read moreI love Inihaw Republic. However, this branch was disappointing.
No matter how good the food was, the smell coming from their comfort room ruined our appetite.
It seemed that they have never cleaned their comfort room because the smell is so disgusting. Everytime the door would open, terrible smell would emanate.
This is not only unpleasant but also highly unhygienic and unacceptable in any dining establishment.
Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene should be of utmost importance for any restaurant. It is imperative for management to promptly address this issue by implementing proper cleaning protocols, ensuring regular maintenance of restroom facilities, and investing in effective air fresheners or odor control systems.
Ignoring or neglecting such a problem not only reflects poorly on the restaurant's reputation but also raises concerns about its commitment to providing a pleasant dining environment for its customers.
This branch of Inihaw Republic is not...
