This little food stand located directly next to a Victory Liner bus stop serves up delicious smashburgers to suit your hunger level. Extremely personable staff. No credit card payments - cash and e-wallet payments only.
This is a simple food stand that serves two things - hamburgers and french fries. Well, if you count iced coffee or tea it serves four things. But in this case the narrow focus foments fantastic food. Hamburgers are smash burgers, meaning they smash the ground beef into very thin patties, incorporating the seasonings thoroughly. By default served with American cheese. Menu advertises singe and double patty options, but they're happy to add additional patties to your suiting for an appropriate additional charge. You can also add a fried egg (served your way whether runny or hard) for additional protein.
Buns are soft and flavorful and deal with the meat well. Because the meat is smashed it isn't overly greasy which certainly helps create a less sloppy overall burger. Some pickles and house sauce top off the burger. Simple and delicious.
Fries can be had naked (salt & pepper), dirty or crazy - depending on how many toppings you want to add. Prices are more expensive than a McDonald's cheeseburger but the taste is better and I suspect you're getting more meat.
No indoor seating, and limited outdoor seating but they provide you with napkins and the necessities for eating standing up. I finished mine in about a minute - they're so good it won't take you long. Will definitely come back here again -...

The cook is personable. It appears that he truly enjoys his job! He helped me understand the variations between the fries they were selling when I wasn't sure what to order. The fries and burger are made fresh and are extremely good! They make you feel satiated easily!
If you're catching a bus along Gov. Pack Road or happen to pass by, be sure to grab a bite at Makatata, conveniently located right across from the bus terminal. You won't...
Read moreFirst time I tried it here was when I recommended it to my mom, so she got food for all of us in the house (for her, my dad, and me). This was my first time going here for lunch and it's still as good as I remember it being all those months ago! I ordered a Double Smashburger, the Nasty Fries, and their Iced Coffee–finished it all back at the office. Never seen kuya before who was manning the stall/grill today, but he was very personable and professional! Can't wait to...
