Food: 5/5 - The food here is always great. I especially love their pastries, and I've been a customer before it was even a cafe, and was just a stall near the entrance of La Azotea. It's affordable and delish. (Btw, I haven't seen brazo de mercedes for quite a while now. One of the best)
Service: 2/5 - During my previous visits, the service was good. They would automatically provide service water even if we only ordered one or two slices of cake. Recently that's not the case. They gave back my change late several times already. I even had to ask for it two or three times in my last visit. These things are supposed to be automatic. I also don't appreciate that they don't give utensils for the cake separately. Do they expect me to eat my cake with the same one I used for my pasta? 😅 That's fine, but I want to enjoy my cake without bits of chicken in it. Kudos to the good staff, but a 2-star service collectively.
Atmosphere: 5/5 I've always loved their choice of music here. It's great for intimate dates with friends, family,...
Read moreAlways been our Go-To Cake Shop, however this time, it really takes so much time for them/staff to prep the cake even if order is just for take-out and there is no other stand by order waiting next line, it did not happen just once but usually when we order take out even when they have a couple of staff around 5 staff going in/out inside the shop, working ones are just one to two staff. When you request for follow-up, cashier/staff would say its about to be brought out. Cake take-out took atleast 20mins waiting ☹️☹️☹️
Hope the mngt will...
Read moreI like the place. They have great food selection. At the time of visit, I only ordered salad and fresh lemonade - I did not regret. The cafe has a great ambiance knowing the fact that it’s along session road, which I guess adds to the great vibe of the cafe.
They do not have power outlet though. You have to pay a minimal amount to charge for an hour. I guess this doesn’t make the place a freelancer friendly cafe. I was able to work though. They have free WiFi, in fairness.
Overall, I think I’ll recommend and I’ll go back...
