I know this restaurant for over 10 years. It was a real pleasure then to go to that place and enjoy the genuine Italian meals and chat to Paolo the owner in Italian. It was adding to the magic of la Forchetta as was the name of the restaurant at that time! I went 2 weeks ago there. The food is still at a very good level and the place as it was before. But the presence of Paolo was really missing his spontaneity, his warm welcome and chatting in Italian. Nevertheless it is a good restaurant to enjoy, unique in Cebu. The staff is very good but not as Latin friendly as it was before. The decoration is still a lesson of culture from Europe. Grazie mille Paolo

Ordered soup, salad, mains and dessert. Tomato soup @150 is one of the best I've had and goes well with the foccacia with pickled veg (200). Sounds expensive but servings were not asian sized, so i thought it was worth it. Pretty filling actually. The garden salad was a bit too ordinary for the price. The mains - chicken and the beef tenderloin - were both served in big portions but nothing special on the taste. I think theyre better with their pasta and pizza. Will definitely come back for the soup and try the pizza and pasta. Careful not to over order (like me!) these are big meals. Definitely try the tartufo, soo good! Sugar rush :)

The place is awesome. Only ordered the basic Bolognese because I wasn't sure of the serving sizes. It's quite pricey, and serving size was good for 1-2 only. Absolutely loved the bread! It was still good despite the lack of condiments when it was served. The interior felt like it was intentionally exaggerated, so they're able to pull it off. You get better bang for your buck with their pizzas since it's easier to share and delicious too! Also just the right amount of parking space.

We were hopping for a decent Italian meal however the food was very disappointing. The pizza was slightly under cooked, the spaghetti a la vongole was hyper oily, the herb ravioli was ok but soaking in oil. The huge quantity of olive oil used is costing the restaurant money and is destroying those pasta dishes. This place needs a new chef. The decor is very old fashion but the paintings are nice. The staff uniform is nice and clean. Cook the pizza properly, go easy on oil and the food can be decent but at it stand i would never return to...
