Chef Marquin’s Burgers Redefined PH — Restaurant in Cebu City

Food: Bland patties with no seasoning, no burger sauce, only one thin ring of raw onion, soggy buns, and the small patties weren’t even proportionate to the bun. What even is the point of the flame on the burgers on our table, does it mean the chef didn’t cook it right? Change the recipe “Chef” Marguin.

Service: The staff are hard to call out for because the kitchen is down below the stairs and the waitress accidentally dropped one of the burgers I ordered because she was looking around not concentrating on bringing the burger to our table. Other than the food being served on a reasonable time, smile more and be more present to the customers please.

Atmosphere: “I think it’s a great idea to have a vape shop beside people dining.” Take that vape shop outta there, like what is it even doing there, it’s supposed to be a restaurant. On the side of the table there’s a dusty and webbed tray where it says “ketchup and mustard”, theres no ketchup and mustard on those dirty trays but only hot sauce which was not labeled. I also don’t understand the staff desk where they literally have to duck under a plank of wood to get to the other side like have u heard of a door? Burger was too too salty. Just come here to shoot their burger torching stunt, not for the food and ambience.

Was really looking forward to their hamburgers ever since i did not get to try one when we were at Moalboal town. It is good that they opened here in IT park.

Food: 2/5 Presentation was good, but Burger patty and cheese was very salty for me. I was concerned how much salt they added and it was already very unhealthy. Maybe the chef smoked when he wrote down the ingredients and did the taste test for his patty. Anyway, i barely finished the burger. We ordered two different kinds and both were really salty. Had to buy water to flush down the salt in my tongue.

Service: 3/5 It was stereotypical. Nothing to be proud of. Had to go to their counter to have my order taken and had to request the table to be cleaned twice. Maybe short staffed? Anyway, can’t complain. Their torch stunt gave my service review +1 star.

Atmosphere: 2/5 Too hot outside. Too much smoke inside.

Went here before Holy Week. This place has terrible customer service. The Cashier who was a lady who wears glasses is really rude. Ordered a double patty burger for take out around 5:00PM and was told to get the order after 45 minutes to 1 hour. I went back around 6:10PM and asked one of the waiters for my burger and was told that it wasn’t ready yet. Out of nowhere from the other end of the room, the Cashier yells “ na ingon ko 45 minutes to 1 hour! “ in a very rude tone and gave me a bad look. I told her “ it’s already over an hour “ and she kept quiet. Had to wait for about 1 hour and a half for my order. The burger wasn’t worth the wait either.
