Kakka Dairy Bar — Restaurant in Cebu City

If I can give more than five stars or Excellent to an establishment, Kakka Dairy Bar would be it! And they certainly deserve it!

Due to enhanced community quarantine/lockdown in Manila and Cebu, I am unable to fly to Cebu for my daughter’s birthday (it’s the first away from home birthday) and we were feeling sad..me especially since I didn’t want her to celebrate on her own. There were not many establishments that are open and none replied to my messages and calls if they can deliver at least a cake for her. A friend recommended for me to check Kakka Dairy Bar and ask if they can accommodate my request. I sent a message thru text and messenger at 11pm the night before my daughter’s birthday resigned to the possibility that she won’t be celebrating with anything and anyone..but Karla from Kakka Dairy replied at 5:55am. That started our communication until we finalized my order with a request if they can deliver..which she readily accommodated! They not only delivered a blueberry cheesecake (which took me a looong time to decide because I was trying to customize to my daughter’s liking..and Karla patiently replied to each of my queries and suggestions!), but also accommodated my request for red velvet cupcakes and chewy chocolate cookies - which are my daughter’s favorites! - and 2 pints of isaphan ice cream (rose, raspberry, and lychee flavor). And if those were not enough, when I asked if they have and can also deliver pasta, Karla replied they don’t have savory meals but she can check the neighboring restaurants, order for me (i got a lasagna) and Kakka Dairy can just deliver together so I won’t go through any hassle (I am not from Cebu and so I would have needed to search for another restaurant who can accept and deliver my order). Amazing! I have not come across any restaurants that would do that for me! And when I offered for her to charge me extra for her effort, Karla replied there is no need. That is an absolutely WOW customer experience!

My daughter had a wonderful surprise and love everything! What a wonderful and thoughtful gesture for my daughter on her birthday!

Super cute place with interesting and delicious ice cream. The isaphan ( a rose flavored ice cream) and the toasted rice are a must try! You won't be dissappointed. Other notable flavors are the ferrero and the blueberry cheesecake ( nice and tart ). They use all natural flavorings and use fresh milk from bohol. I absolutely love the decor . So adorable with the sprinkle light background and ice cream scoops through the years wall. Well done! Will come here again when I'm back in Cebu! I will say it's pricey for the size but it delivers with taste. I'd recommend to any ice cream lovers and my sweet tooth friends 😍. The workers are also incredibly kind and go out of their way even for the customers picture...

Most disappointing coffee ever. Waste of money.

I waited for 30mins for 1 caffe latte and 1 caramel latte to-go only for my cafe latte to be ALL MILK NO COFFEE and it tasted like all almond milk. I yet again wasted another 10mins to go back to this shop to have my order corrected. They claimed to have put two shots but the color doesn't look like coffee at all. Their resolution? Add two more shots. If its true that the coffee already has 2 shots and they offered to add another 2 shots, then that would make the coffee EVEN WORSE and bitter. And so they did "add" two shots but it didn't matter how many shots they would put, that quality of coffee shouldn't even be served. Both cafe latte and caramel...
