This breakfast buffet was held at the hotel’s roof deck, which made the experience feel a bit more special at first because of the nice morning view and open-air ambiance. However, despite the pleasant setting, the food itself didn’t quite live up to expectations. The buffet offered a rather limited selection. While the spread included a few main dishes, there seemed to be more desserts and pastries than actual viands, which can be disappointing for those expecting a filling morning meal. Some food containers were left empty during my visit, and refills were not immediate. Bacon, surprisingly, wasn’t displayed and had to be requested from the staff, something that wasn’t clearly indicated anywhere. Another major concern was the temperature of the food. Most of the dishes were already cold, and the warmers didn’t seem to be used properly. It was only after a guest complained that staff placed small candles under the trays to reheat the food, a temporary fix that didn’t fully solve the issue. They do have sikwati, which is a nice local touch, but it felt incomplete without puto or other native delicacies to pair it with. The taste overall was just average, nothing particularly bad, but nothing great either. The egg dishes were pre-cooked, which made them less fresh and appealing. In summary, even with the lovely rooftop location, the breakfast at Harold’s Hotel feels a little too expensive for what’s offered. The limited choices, cold food, average taste, and lack of attention to detail make it fall short of expectations for a hotel buffet. With better food quality, temperature control, and replenishment, the experience could be much improved.

Our little group decided to catch up over breakfast, so we headed to H Café—and it did not disappoint. The breakfast buffet is honestly one of the best I’ve had so far. There’s a wide variety of food to choose from (especially bacon—who doesn’t love bacon, right?). The staff were friendly and absolutely lovely, which made the experience even better. We also really appreciate the discount they offer to BPO agents. Overall, it was an amazing start to the day and definitely one of the best breakfast experiences I’ve had.

From the parking assistance, welcoming the guests, to serving the guests, I can say this place have an excellent customer service! The staff were very warm, they answered our questions politely and they attend to whatever our extra needs are. The food is great but sometimes the inventory management is not good like there are several minutes where some dishes and desserts are not restocked. It was not that long though. Overall, this place is worth its price!
