Capu Coffee - Cebu — Restaurant in Cebu City

i went there for the second time, it looks like it is attracting visitors with high IG followers, lots of people taking photos including me. the food is not as tasty as my first time, first I ordered corned beef meal now the big breakfast. and same drink hibiscus lemonade, before it tasted more distinct and mixed flavours now it feels all lemonady taste with color in the drink.

The place ambiant and aesthetic is good, but is inconvenient.

The have added trays that are not helping with the already crowded small table set up. It feels like on a cliffhanger and small movement things in the table will fall in the floor.

The chairs are the same height as the tables so if you are having meals you will be a kampanerang kuba by the time you finish the meal.

I am yet to try the desserts, I will maybe try this place one more time. I hope they see this message and make...

Another addition to the ever-growing cafe scene of Cebu. The tiny space of the cafe has a unique intimate charm.

The dark theme of the interiors is full of playful textures. From the mossy walls on the exterior to the alluring ceiling and the different choices of materials for their furnitures. Back rests are scarce with the limited number of seats that they have.

Food was great. The scampi pasta was tasty and well cooked while the ube cake had the right sweetness.

The drinks were really good. The Coconut Americano was a strong choice while the Pistachio Latte was a sweeter mild alternative.

I really appreciate how accurate the descriptions that the barista gave us when we asked for recommendations. Staff were very welcoming and warm.

Place is aesthetically pleasing. Loved the feel. Good music. Good ambience. Food is ok. The lady at the counter was friendly and smiling. The baristas, not at all. Did not expect a lot but a smile would have been appreciated.

However, I do want to share that the tables and chairs are very inconvenient. The seat is as high as the table, which is not exactly how I would like to position myself eating the Huge Breakfast. The high chairs were too low for the counter too. I did comment to my friend that sometimes aesthetic does not meet convenience. So you'll have to wait until a more convenient seat is available inside.

Not a fan of the flat white I ordered considering that I always order the same type of coffee in other cafes. Coffee was too sour for me. Would come back for...
