Band is ok. Choice of rock music in between, there’s a lot of shouting, good thing we were in the patio area outside. If you are looking for a nightlife vibe in the mall, this is it. Also it’s swarming with foreigners if that’s your thing. We were just looking for late bites and this is the only place that was open. We ordered pizza and it arrived after 45 minutes after 2 followups. Very thin crust so not sure how that happened. I guess they forgot? Band was okay. The rock music they played in between had a lot of shouting though. Good thing we were seated outside on the patio so it wasn’t too much. If you're looking for that nightlife vibe in the mall, this is definitely it. It’s also swarming with foreigners if that’s your thing. We were just looking for some late bites and this was the only place open. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and it took 45 minutes to arrive—only after we followed up twice. Not sure how that even happened since it was such a thin crust pizza. Felt like they forgot about our order. What really bothered me was the service. They added a 10% service charge even though they completely forgot about our food. The nerve. It felt like they were more attentive to the foreign guests. No one came back to check on our table or update us about the order. We couldn’t help but wonder—is it because we’re just Filipinos? Or maybe because we didn’t order much? Not sure. But it didn’t feel good. Pizza wasn’t even worth the wait. Wouldn’t recommend the pepperoni. Definitely not coming back. And I’m still...

Was here two nights this week. First off, the service is terrible. The first night, the waitress took my drink order. She seemed friendly and was really hustling to serve her customers. That was the last I saw of her. I waited and waited for my drink. Then another employee was wondering around with a beer, not knowing what table ordered it. Told him I ordered a while ago from someone else and he gave me the drink. 30 minutes later I wanted another drink. No servers around but could see a few guy servers chatting with appeared to be their female friends. No interest in serving customers. Finally flagged someone down for my order. Another 30 passed and the same. Eventually got my 3rd drink but asked for bill and left frustrated. Good thing they add 10% service fee to the bill or they would not have gotten a tip. Second night had dinner there. Ordered pizza. It was terrible for the price. Paper thin and tasteless. If you are going to charge high prices at least provide a quality product. Also had the calamari. Good sized portion but also plain tasting. Canadian and American prices for low quality food. Again, poor service. Had to flag staff down for a 2nd drink. Place was not busy. On the positive side, atmosphere is nice. Good band and not loud. Drink prices are reasonable. Might return for a drink or two but that’s it. Maybe sitting at the bar will ensure...

The Social is at the top of my list for a relaxed and entertaining, “westernized” style restobar. Employees are all friendly and the food manages to always exceed my expectations but I have not tried everything on the menu. I lived several years in south Florida and regularly visited “Little Havana”, mainly for Cuban food and I can heartily recommend the Social’s “Cuban” sandwich. It’s not exactly like the Cuban’s I would routinely eat in Little Havana but it’s very close and every bit as good, if not better than anything I remember eating in Florida. The Cuban is my favorite menu item with their ribs or pork belly in a tie for second. The pizzas are also good, especially if you like a true, thin crust pizza.

There’s also live entertainment that usually starts around 7 every night and I appreciate how the volume level allows for conversation even when sitting directly in front of the band. If you haven’t been, you may want to check it out but also keep in mind The Social is definitely more of a “westernized” atmosphere along with the prices and it does attract lots of...

Tucked inside Ayala Center Cebu at Cebu Business Park, The Social is a vibrant cafĂŠ-bar-meets-music spot that knows how to keep the energy high. The interior is stylish with dim lighting perfect for evening hangouts, and there's often live music or DJ sets on select nights--one of their recent posts even teased a "music night" lineup that drew quite the crowd. Drink-wise, their cocktail list doesn't disappoint, with creative twists and craft beers that go down smooth late into the night--they're open until 1AM, and weekends stretch to 2AM . With a 70% recommend rate from over 3,400 reviews on Yelp, it's clear people love the mix of laid-back social vibe and upbeat scene. The crowd is eclectic--office workers, couples, friends--all enjoying the central spot in Cebu's best business hub. Prices lean a bit higher ("$$$$"), but it's worth it for the ambiance and consistently good service. Whether you're winding down after work or gearing up for a night out, The Social hits the sweet spot between chill and festive--definitely a go-to in Cebu City.
