So not to knock down all of Coron but I’ve had a hard time finding good food out here. Local food or western food, I just hadn’t found anything good…until I went to Level Up.
I showed up to play pool and drink but I got hungry so I ordered some chicken fingers. There was something special about this chicken…flavorful and with a really nice texture.
So the next day, after eating a very strange meal at a seafood restaurant around the block I recommended we go to Level Up. We ordered the fish and chips, nachos, and the chicken fingers again. My friends were super happy that they finally ate something good. The fish and chips were tasty. The nachos were individually prepared, which made them less messy compared to a plate of chips and toppings plopped on everything…not how I was expecting them to be served but they tasted good.
We got buckets of beer and stayed on the rooftop until it was time to go home. The staff was really good, always attentive and friendly.
Now for the rest of the place: There are 3 floors. There are video games on one, a dance floor on another, but most people seem to like the rooftop where you can play darts, play pool (very small table), or grab a large Jenga to play on your table. The music was fun, the vibe was chill and friendly.

Read moreWe spent our night here and received amazing service from the kind, attentive and friendly staff upstairs on the 3rd floor.
Unfortunately this experience was ruined by a young member of staff and his female colleague on the sports bar floor. As we were leaving we were made fun of, laughed at and discriminated against for being from the UK.
We were asked how long we were in the Philippines for as we were leaving, to which we assumed this was just the staff being friendly, we responded to say we had saved to travel the Philippines for a month and how beautiful it was here. They made rude comments about the fact we were rich and privileged, did impressions of us talking, and clearly had a problem with us because of where we came from.
This was very upsetting, rude and not something that was deserved in any way, we are kind friendly people who love to learn about other cultures and explore. We are totally aware of the fact we are privileged to be born in the UK but cannot change the fact that is where we are from.
It’s such a shame that this experience left us feeling unwelcome and self conscious after majority of your staff had been so welcoming like the rest of the Filipinos...
Read moreThe welcoming dude by the entrance was great. Very welcoming that’s why we went. The place has potential. Good vibes. But the staff is the worst. I’ve been to Coron so many times and I’ve never been treated this bad.
I brought my whole family with me. Their menu said non-alcoholic but the drink actually had alcohol. They have a Mexican fried ice cream menu but it’s just a scoop of ice cream covered in rice crispy.
They have billiards upstairs and they told us we have to order and we can play for free so we ordered drinks and we played. But they still approached me so many times to ask to order (which we already did) before using the pool table.
Their staff made my family feel really uncomfortable. Making us feel that we are not welcome at all at their place which we wouldn’t even bother to visit if we knew that is how we will be treated.
We just wanted to have fun and they are the worst part...
