One of the best specialty coffee experiences I’ve had in a long time! Grounded 100% Arabica Coffee in Al Nido truly raises the bar for what high-quality coffee should taste like. The beans are clearly premium—rich, aromatic, and expertly brewed to bring out their full flavor profile. Whether you’re into pour-over, espresso, or cold brew, each cup is crafted with precision and care.
The ambiance is equally impressive. The space is warm, cozy, and tastefully designed—perfect for working, catching up with friends, or simply enjoying a quiet moment with a great cup of coffee. It has that “third place” feel that makes you want to come back again and again.
Service is outstanding. The staff are not only friendly and professional, but also incredibly knowledgeable about their coffee offerings. They’re more than happy to walk you through the different beans and brewing methods, which adds a personal and educational touch to the experience. Attention to detail here is on point—from the presentation of the drinks to the cleanliness of the space.
Prices are reasonable considering the quality, and you definitely get great value for money. It’s clear that this place is run by people who are passionate about coffee and genuinely care about the customer experience.
Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates authentic, high-quality coffee in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Grounded is a must-visit spot in Al Nido—you won’t be...
Read moreI love this café, especially as a vegan!
However, as a vegan, I probably wouldn't have gone in as there as there's nowhere where it says it is a vegan café. I actually enquired Ver De for cookies and they didn't have any, but they did tell me the café opposite was vegan. I had no idea! I guess a lot of vegans will walk past this place as there is no way of knowing it's vegan from the outside...But still, I get the concept.
I think it's great that people who aren't vegan would go into this café and order coffee/sweet treats and try vegan food. It's a great way to introduce people to vegan food.
However, if they never find out the food was vegan, how will they know that they tried vegan coffee/vegan food? They will just go about their day thinking they had non vegan food. This is why I think there should be some mention that this is a vegan café, maybe on the door inside so when people walk out they will realise they had vegan food and be pleasantly surprised.
There is only a small mentioned of oat milk being the default option on the menu. Personally I think there should be something else on the menu/door to indicate it's a fully vegan place.
5* because I love their cookies and chai latté! A little less ice in their takeaway iced latté would be nice as last time I only had a few sips as the takeaway cup was filled to the...
Read moreThis coffee shop is more than just a place to grab a drink—it’s an experience. The aesthetic is unlike anything I’ve seen, blending art, comfort, and creativity in every corner. Their coffee is bold and thoughtfully crafted, and the pastries? Absolutely unforgettable. Each bite feels like a work of art. It’s the kind of spot that makes you want to stay a little longer, just soaking in the atmosphere.
And of course the last thing that I like in this shop is the name itself “Grounded”.
Grounded is more than just a coffee shop—it’s a space rooted in warmth, simplicity, and intention. Inspired by the richness of freshly ground coffee and the beauty of staying humble, every cup served here is a quiet reminder to slow down, savor the moment, and stay connected to what truly matters.
This is the only shop in the Philippines located in El Nido Palawan - just ask the locals here and they will guide you here… It’s a must try… A very promising one coffee shop that you will keep coming back. #foodreviewph #foodie #foodblogger #coffeeshop #coffeeshopreview
