I recently had the pleasure of visiting Last Chance, a cocktail bar that takes mixology to a whole new level with bold flavors and creative ingredients. Three cocktails, in particular, left a lasting impression: 1. “Too Extra” Think of it as an elevated Negroni with a unique twist. The saffron-infused unaged apple brandy brings an exotic richness, while Cynar (taking the place of Campari) adds a more subtle, earthy bitterness that balances beautifully with the passion fruit liqueur. It’s daring, layered, and makes you want to savor every sip—a fresh, refined take on the classic that’s still familiar but with intriguing new dimensions. 2. “Sunny Sili” The gin base is paired with cucumber, calamansi, and mint for a cooling profile, but the chiles add an unexpected kick that takes this drink from light and refreshing to bold and unforgettable. 3. “Bubbs Dubs” Perfectly refreshing and subtly complex, Bubbs Dubs is cocktail elegance in a glass. The combination of gin, hibiscus, and calamansi makes for a beautifully balanced drink with floral and citrus notes

LOVE this place!!! My boyfriend and I came here on our first night in Siargao, and it was absolutely amazing! They have such a huge selection of alcohol for an island bar, the drinks were delicious, the music and ambiance were great, everyone was so nice, and the food was AMAZINGGG. We got the Smacked Cucumbers and Cajun Steak Frites to eat. The cucumbers, i forgot to take a photo of, but they were so flavorful and refreshing! I didn’t know what to expect exactly, but they definitely surpassed my expectations! But the Steak Frites?! The two of us ordered one plate to share, and we gobbled it up in 3 seconds. Literally fighting each other’s forks for more bites. So we ordered a second plate!! Both plates, we absolutely cleared and practically licked clean in seconds. Jesse was behind the bar helping us out. It was such a pleasure to talk to him and hangout. He very kindly treated us to a pineapple-coconut cake (which I took a photo of after we each had a bite) - sooo toasty, tasty and yummy! I can’t recommend this place enough!

Been wanting to try this place for a while and had quite high expectations. We did some bar hopping yesterday and figured from the aesthetic that Last Chance would be amongst the top of the pile - but we were ultimately disappointed. I’ve never been served an amaretto sour with with 90% foam! I let it settle for a while, so the drink in the image is the result after 5 minutes waiting. It was frankly quite hard to drink, because the foam would spill out before you could reach the liquid. We asked the waitress if this was normal for them to serve a drink with so much foam, and she just replied that it was their standard. As you can see from the second photo, the amount of foam left over just sitting in the glass wasn’t right. This is a drink that was just short of 500 pesos. Sorry guys, but that’s not on. I’m very fair with my reviews and I’m trying not to be overly harsh because of the very nice setting and the images of the food I’ve seen, but my own experience as a paying customer wasn’t at all on the standard I expected
