NĀGA was just a short walk from our resort, but it was impossible to miss. The place had a striking aesthetic—modern yet warm, with a setup that invited you in. It was the kind of spot that immediately made you curious about what they had to offer, so we decided to stop by for lunch. From the moment we walked in, the service was welcoming. Our server greeted us with a friendly energy that made the experience even better, and when I asked for recommendations, she didn’t hesitate to share her favorites. Taking her word for it, I ordered the Ossobuco, a slow-braised beef shank that came in a rich, herb-infused tomato sauce, paired with gremolata and buttered pasta. It was incredibly tender, and every bite had that deep, comforting flavor that only comes from hours of slow cooking. Alongside it, I couldn’t resist trying the Crispy Crackling Pork Belly—a slow-roasted pork belly, twice-fried to perfection. The golden crackling skin was as crispy as you’d hope for, while the meat remained juicy and flavorful. Beyond the food, the ambiance added to the experience. The space was well-designed, balancing style and comfort in a way that made you want to stay longer. Everything from the layout to the little details made it clear that thought was put into the atmosphere. NĀGA wasn’t just a convenient stop—it ended up being one of those meals you remember. The food, the friendly service, and the inviting space made it a spot I’d definitely return to.

A beautiful spot in the center of Siargao with a range of changing wines on their list (during our stay the available wine were different Riojas, chardonnay and even a Penfolds) that make use of as much local produce as possible. The food was delicious and proudly freshly made, which was noticed by our tastebuds via every tasty bite. We ordered the chowder soup, their calamari and Mahi Mahi. The Mahi Mahi was cooked to perfection and basically melted in our mouths. All food was done very well and it is obvious that a foodie has been responsible for the menu choices, which were very much enjoyed from our side. We also enjoyed live music during our dinner and were then accompanied by Marc, one of the partners of the restaurant. He was nice enough to invite us to the most delicious Margarita I've had on the island and we spent hours learning of his experience of living in the gorgeous Philippines for over 14 years. We had a fantastic stay to say the least!!! I can highly recommend you to visit Naga when staying in Siargao. Thank you Marc, Markie the sailor and to the rest of the team for the wonderful evening!

sad to hear some negative reviews here but thankful we got the best dinner experience at naga! focaccia bread - 5/5 so soft and airy! though could use improvement with their butter as it was bland enough or just normal butter and not their special garlic version that they said ceasar salad - 4/5 i know you could add fish or chicken ata but just plain was good enough! could maybe add a few more toppings though to get your moneys worth clam chowder - 5/5!!! creamy enough and had a lot of seafood and potatoes. this one’s my fave but not the bread that came with it 😅 pesto gnocchi- 2/5 nothing special but pesto sauce used was good seafood negra - 4/5 could use just a tad bit more flavor but it was good enough and had enough seafood servings beef brisket — 3/5 tender but the sauce doesn’t look appetizing nor taste flavorful… nothing special ube cake - 3/5 i forgot what they call it but it was okay, i think the yellow custardy sauce was mango and it was a bit on the sour side. cake was moist almost like a puto bumbong cake

Style over substance. Expect to take “no” for an answer and prepare to be underwhelmed with cold food.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but felt compelled to do so after our experience here.

We had high expectations for this place after reading reviews. We arrived during their “happy hour” and my wife and I wanted to order two different cocktails on their menu. We asked if the second “free” cocktail could be taken after we finished our first (still within the happy hour timings) and we were told, point blank “no”. Fair enough.

We then ordered some starters (focaccia and calamari) and, after a significant wait, the focaccia arrived. It was tasty, but we wanted to enjoy this with the calamari, which turned up over 30 minutes later. The calamari was overcooked and tough.

We decided to order some more drinks. My wife’s cocktail turned up within minutes. I was told the draft beer would be “five minutes more” because they are waiting for it to cool down. After 25 minutes, I asked where this had got to and they told me the same thing. I ended up ordering a different drink, only to see another table served the beer I ordered immediately after.

We then ordered two mains and a side. The side dish arrived within around 10-15 minutes, but there were no sign of our mains. After around 45 minutes I asked to cancel the dishes as we were past the point of wanting to wait any longer. As if by magic, our dishes arrived at our table. However, both were stone cold and so we said we would not accept these and wanted to cancel them. Both our waitress and the manager on duty came across as frustrated and annoyed at this request, despite us pointing out the time we had to wait and that the food was cold. We’d also witnessed several other tables experiencing that same issues that evening. The staff lack any kind of sympathy and seem to just make excuses for the slow service. For the prices you pay here (much more than other very good places on the island) you would be forgiven for expecting more.

Whilst the setting of the place is very nice. The food and service leaves much to be desired. Despite our experience, and raising this with the manager, we were still expected to pay the service charge on the bill. We had planned to return for our last night, given the exceptional reviews, but will now be making other plans. Disappointing...

We went here for dinner tonight. We were quite enthusiastic because the place looked really nice and had good reviews.

Unfortunately the dish I wanted was not available. I looked at the menu again and chose something else. After 5 minutes the server got back to me and told me this is also unavailable. Since this was a “today’s specials” dish I was quite surprised it wasn’t available So again I had to choose something else.

My boyfriend ordered his food on the first round, but since my food was not available 2 times we asked if it could still be served at the same time. Around 10 minutes after I ordered my salad, I got it served. We asked 5 minutes later when my boyfriend would get his food served. It would take 5 minutes. In total it took more than 20 minutes after I got my food. When you dine together, you want your food to be served at the same time. Especially when we asked for it. I was told a salad is easy to make, so why not make it 5 minutes before my boyfriend’s food gets served?

The food itself was nice. There was one server that apologized for the inconvenience and we appreciated that.

When you don’t have 2 dished available, and then proceed to serve one dish 20 minutes before you serve the second dish, we would’ve liked another approach from the staff. Especially for these prices. We didn’t really feel like most of the staff cared about this issue, except for the man...
