Tahanan Al Fresco Cafe - Siargao — Restaurant in General Luna

First and foremost, compliments to the chef! The food was delicious and the presentation looked like it was touched by an Angel. The staff were super friendly and very accommodating which added to the warm relaxed vibe up in here. I guess it was fate that made me stumble into this place. Theres plenty of space for small or bigger groups of people, the music at the time was pretty chilled. The menu had a good range of food for a good price/portion, tho I'd prefer if they had photos of the actual dishes in them. As I like to choose my food with pictures. All in all, this is a great place with a great vibe and view from the top. I would definitely come back to Tahanan again. Oh and the girl with the tatoos. She's special. She's very lovely and has a welcoming smile which adds to the Tahanan experience in Siargao. Be sure to say hi and strike up a conversation. Tahanan Al Fresco Cafe is a gem! The place is cozy and there are lots of seating options for small and big groups. The cafe has a great view, accessible location and the interior surely gives off "tahanan vibes". The staff were really friendly and accommodating too. Making sure you'll be comfortable til the end of your dining experience now when it comes to the food — the food tastes great, worth your money and very affordable with heaps of servings. I recommend the buffalo wings and their spicy rice, a taste that I will surely miss and last but not the least, their coffee and shakes are splendid. Went here for brunch but the waiting time was unreasonably long. Ordered at 9:45am, food served at 11am, one meal at a time. And there weren’t anyone else aside from us. The waiting time was not worth it for dishes as basic as waffles and american breakfast.

The waffles are mid, a bit chewy. Only the ice cream kinda redeems it though. The american breakfast was basic.

Coffee weren’t that great either. The americano is okay. But the lattes were extremely milky (probably at an 8:1 milk to coffee ratio). An extra espresso shot didn’t help either.
