32 Italian Deli & Kitchen — Restaurant in Lapu-Lapu

Pizza is subpar due to the “sauce” which was crushed, undrained, unripe tomatoes. It was pale, kind of pink, with no flavor and very watery.

First I thought the crust was undercooked which is common here in the Philippines but it was actually the watery sauce, if you can call it that, that was making the top the crust mushy. I think the crust would have been the best i had tasted if it wasn’t for the terrible “sauce” that ruined it.

Cheese was a little sparse. The Italian seasonings that should be cooked in the sauce were sprinkled on top. We got the Hawaiian so not much to mess up on toppings. Pizza looks good on arrival but taste is not good. Better pizza at Angel’s with similar or cheaper price.

Also they add a “service fee” without listing it on then menu. I paid by CC before i noticed it otherwise i wouldn’t have paid jt. Made my bill 10% more than it...

Unfortunately, I overheard one waitress chatting to her colleagues about my being there until 20:30. She said, and I am paraphrasing, "Remember sir we close at 21:00". Meanwhile, I was conversing with my wife online and I already knew she would not make the 21:00 closing time. I promptly went downstairs and paid my bill and I unfortunately had to embarrass the said worker about her comment.

If you want to establish an authentic italian restaurant, make sure your workers are on board on what is expected.

I will never return because I felt unwanted. Sort it out! Re-training on courtesy is needed urgently.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We visited 32 Italian Deli on a Saturday night, and the place was quiet with only one table occupied. I was craving a good pizza, and my wife suggested we try this place — and it didn’t disappoint! 🍕

The pizza crust was freshly made, served fast, and perfectly baked with that authentic Italian flavor. We also tried their aglio olio, which had a unique twist from the usual taste because of some added spices — not exactly what we expected, but still interesting.

The waiters were courteous and pleasing, and the prices were just right for a tasty and satisfying meal. A nice spot for a relaxed Italian...
