Pros: • By the beach • Aesthetic interior • Has parking (free if you dine in)
Cons: • VERY RUDE cashier (I assume she’s the owner/manager) • Subaverage food • Not worth the price
As first timers, we were asking the cashier what are the bestsellers because we were having a hard time choosing. She answered once for coffee but when asked again for smoothie bowls, she made a face, dismissed the question and called her staff to give us answers when she couldve just answered the question herself. Super bastos. We did not feel welcome at all. She has been very rude from the beginning. If your excuse for being easily irritated is because you are pregnant, then you shouldnt be the one taking orders. Be on bedrest or something.
As for the food, coffee and chocolate drinks were not it. Drinks were watered down and disappointing. Smoothie bowls were mid. The fruits on it were not the best. I have tried better smoothie bowls elsewhere. Rice meals were just okay. Nothing special.
I get that the place is really nice and it is refreshing to see vegan options but I hope your service improves in the future. Just hire someone fitting to the...
Read moreI stayed in La Union for 2 weeks and came to Seabuds almost every day. It became my morning routine to get a smoothie bowl and sit overlooking the ocean. I loved the food here and all vegan cafe! My favorite was the azul smoothie bowl, and I also had the zenergy smoothie bowl a lot too because of the healthy greens in it 😋 I also tried their breakfast plates, one with vegan tapa and one with vegan longganisa. I was so happy to try vegan versions of the Filipino classic breakfasts as I don’t eat meat and have never tried it. I also tried their blueberry pancakes and WOWW they are the best vegan pancakes I’ve ever had! So fluffy and delicious! I tried their vegan burger as well and it was pretty good - I’ve had better but still a great lunch to have, especially since vegan options are quite limited in this area. Overall I will miss this place a lot and really enjoyed visiting...
Read moreFood: We tried the Summer Day Bowl (₱350), and it’s easily become our favorite! The combination of fresh fruits (banana, strawberry, mango), coconut shreds, chia seeds, cacao nibs, and their homemade granola was refreshing and satisfying. Definitely a great pick for a hot day. Rated it 8/10!
Service: It wasn’t too crowded when we visited, and ordering was straightforward (pay as you order). However, I found it a bit inconvenient that I was asked to pay ₱5 for an extra spoon, especially since we were sharing. Also noticed that some tables weren’t cleaned promptly, which could be improved.
Atmosphere: A chill tambayan spot right in front of the beach, very presko and relaxing! It does get crowded during peak hours, so we were lucky to find good seats. The beach view definitely adds to the...
