Grabengo Store + Coffee (Makati) — Restaurant in Makati

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the recently implemented 2-3 hour limit for staying outside your establishment. Me and my friend was “specifically” informed on the said restriction while paying in the counter, saying the “business owners” per our previous visits may have been noted on CCTV. It does give the impression of “selective” enforcement.

I understand that businesses may need to implement certain policies, but I believe this particular restriction may negatively impact customer experience.

During our previous visits, we have stayed longer and I am concerned that this new policy may deter us and other customers from returning. It is unfortunate to see such a limitation, especially considering that other establishments in the area, such as Starbucks, convenience stores or other cafes, do not appear to have similar restrictions.

Furthermore, I would like to bring to your attention that the prices of your products are relatively high, and the limited stay duration may not align with the value proposition for us. Additionally, the Wi-Fi service, which is often a factor for customers choosing a place to stay, has been quite slow, making it less of an incentive. Finally, the air conditioning inside the establishment has not been very effective, making the outdoor area a more comfortable option for many.

This store has a great selection of items that I need. Not to mention fantastic coffee and great sandwiches (egg and seafood sandwich is my fave). They have perfect artisanal ice cream, Dimsum and tapa king!!!What more can you ask for. I like shopping here while getting my car cleaned. they also have a outdoor area with grass carpet and good ventilation to stay safe and adhere with open spaces during the time of COVID. I like this place a lot. It's somewhat relaxing to hang out at the outdoor spot which is also pet-friendly.

The only thing I dislike about this place is they disallow vaping which is what a lot of people including myself need during a chill spot. I understand cigarettes given it's beside a gas station but vaping produces smoke that poses no danger to the gas station.
