We usually eat across the street but my friends recommended this place and it did not disappoint. Fresh sashimi and the beef (no picture as it was gone in seconds) was really good. They also had private rooms for small groups (usually other places have private rooms for big groups only). Fair price for the food the only down side was the menu has a note at the bottom that 12% VAT is not included and 10% service charge as well, which is ok but when they gave our receipt it was only a service slip. We had to ask for an Official Receipt for the additional 12% VAT added. So make sure to ask for one.

I’ve been to this Japanese restaurant and was really impressed with the kaiseki Matsu set we had. The ingredients were fresh and high-quality, and each dish was both creative and well-balanced, showing the chef’s talent and care. The service was also great—efficient and friendly, with staff who really knew their stuff. The restaurant itself was cozy and nicely decorated, and the crowd dining there added to the authentic atmosphere, making the experience even better. Overall, it was a fantastic meal, and I’d definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a great Japanese dining experience.

Delightful cozy, authentic Japanese restaurant on the 2nd floor of Herald Suites Hotel. If you want a quiet place to have lunch, this is it. Located in Little Tokyo and serves a lunch menu which will fill you up. The kitchen closes by around 2pm so come early. Traditional Japanese cuisine with more tatami tables but there's a few regular tables to choose from. Wish I could bring my mom here but it's not possible for people using wheelchairs. Note: no service charge during lunch. Only during dinner.

This is one of the rare visits rated three stars. The tonkatsu in the higawari set was so tough that I returned it to the kitchen. The replacement was thinner and more chewable, but still not tender. What a pity since the side dishes were very good. I originally ordered the karaage higawari , but it was not available.

Secondly, we were assigned to a traditional sunken table where the A/C was malfunctioning. The room felt warm throughout our stay. I was informed that the original room reserved had a leaking A/C. Despite these problems, they kept using these functions rooms for business.

As if these weren't enough to dampen our mood, the battery of the wireless call bell was useless. It turned out that the battery was dead.

Overall, it was a disappointing dining experience for an important occasion that we were...
