First off, if you're not going to read anymore then these first few lines, I'll start with stay as far away from this trash heap of a hotel. Rooms are extremely small, not much bigger than the bed. The front desk staff are completely rid and uncaring. We got moved 3 times because almost everything in the room was non-functional. The phone system does not work. There is no hot water. They have bugs in the beds. Another reason we got moved. The refrigerator does not work. The included breakfast has little food choice. And it tasted horrible. We asked to speak to a Manager, and they refused to let us speak to a manager. It seems like the manager is never here. This has been my worst travel experience in my life. I've been to the Philippines 12 times and this is the worst hotel I have stayed in. I understand it's not a high-end or expensive hotel, but they should have everything functional. They should not have bed bugs, they should do a better job of describing their rooms. There are electrical outlets hanging out of the wall, that is a big safety concern, because 220 volts can kill you, and also a large fire risk. The light switches in the rooms were broken. You can accidentally electrocute yourself by turning the lights on and off. The toilet's broken, it leaks all over the floor, the bidet sprays all over the floor, broken bidets. And some of the windows are broken so you can't even close them because the latch is missing, so you can't pull it closed. Stay far far away from this trash heap of a hotel.

This is my second time to stay here and AGAIN they gave me a room where I could hear a lot of hammering. I had no choice but to stay at this condition because my kind host booked us here as part of a weekend project. But in fairness to Gervasia, both times that I complained, they moved us to a more quiet room. Their rooms in general are small but they are comfy and good places for rest. AC very strong! I struggled though trying to sleep on their bed. It was firm but not springy. I prefer firm, springy beds. The Makati Cinema Square is the nearest mall but it's not the best mall in town. The Greenbelt Malls are much better options but you'll have to walk a couple blocks to get there which is OK for people like me who live to walk. It is near the Legaspi Park which is a lovely spot but so tiny. It is sad that the Metro Manila cities do not value parks. Gervasia basically offers you a comfortable bed to sleep in but not much more.

The standard room is small, quite cramped for 2 people. Okay for 1 person. They kept giving me a room with no clothes hangers (no where to hang clothes in the room and in the toilet. No barrier to separate the shower and toilet, so the whole CR is always wet. Toilet bowl won't flush. Aside from those, everything else is good. There is complementary water, toothbrushes, soap, shampoo, and parking. The breakfast is great at Mrs. V resto. Not much but just enough. Wifi is fast in the room. TV channel reception is bad.

well, the receptionist (young lady) was just too much confused... i gave her my passport credit card and reservation provided with my name and everything, she gave me everything needed and sent us to our room. the room was very nice, clean and large but after a few minutes she called and i had to come down to the reception, show them again all my.documents i had with me, and she noticed there is my name on it! she managed to accomodate me in a wrong room booked on some british fella with not even similar name. (really not at all). she said everythigs okay from now.after a few hours we had to surprisingly change our room for another one - the new room was enough size with decent bed and shower but the sink in the bathroom smelled as it was rotten pumpkin inside. every time entering the bathroom i had to face at least nose bleeding. there was a little fridge which was during the night making sounds similar to The Shutter Island movie, which made my gf uncomfortable. in the morning someone knocked on our door. a little dizzy and half naked i manage to open the door and found out they brought us breakfast to our room. at 7:20. im not saying its not a nice service, just wondering how did they assume we want our breakfast at 7:20? this time? we didnt know this will be happening.nobody talked to us about a time or nuthin. the pocation - it might not seem very beautiful from outside but the nice makati neighborhood is just around the corner. we walked from there even during the night and...

Pros:Convenient location. 20 minutes to the airport and close to Little Tokyo.Cons:The room was run-down. The cushions were torn and the wood tiles on the floor were peeling off.The towels didn't absorb water at all.Breakfast is delivered to rooms, but if you can't receive it, they leave it in the hallway. While the food is wrapped, I was shocked to see a cup of hot water for instant coffee left of the hallway floor directly without any lid.The Wi-Fi speed is horrifically slow (and it's only available in public spaces anyway) - seeing speeds like 1Mbps down and 700Kbps up felt like going back 20 years - and it doesn't connect at all in the morning.Rating:Given the location, the price is reasonable and breakfast are included, so it's acceptable only if you just need a place to sleep.Unless you're the type of person who works without internet connection, I wouldn't recommend this place if you're planning to get work done here, as it would be a nightmare.I also wouldn't recommend it to anyone wanting to watch YouTube, Netflix, or other streaming services...
