My family and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Seryna Restaurant in Makati, and it was an unforgettable experience. The ambiance, service, and, most importantly, the food, were all top-notch. Upon entering the restaurant, we were warmly greeted by the staff and promptly escorted to our table. The atmosphere was elegant yet comfortable, making us feel at ease as we perused the menu. Our waitress, Merci, and the other waitresses were fantastic. They were attentive, professional, and friendly, ensuring our water glasses were always filled and that we had everything we needed throughout the meal. We decided to order a variety of dishes to get a true taste of what Seryna has to offer, including Saba Sushi, 4 Salmon Sashimi, Tuna Sushi, Assorted Chicken and Pork Yakitori, Gyoza, Tonkatsu, Shrimp Tempura, and Yasai. The Saba Sushi was beautifully presented and melted in our mouths with its delicate flavor. The Salmon Sashimi was incredibly fresh and buttery, while the Tuna Sushi showcased the quality of their ingredients with its rich taste. The Assorted Chicken and Pork Yakitori was another highlight, as each skewer was cooked to perfection, retaining its tenderness and robust flavor. The Gyoza was equally impressive with its crispy exterior and flavorful, juicy filling. The Tonkatsu, Shrimp Tempura, and Yasai were also delicious and cooked to perfection. Throughout the meal, the service was attentive and professional, ensuring our water glasses were always filled and that we had everything we needed. Overall, our experience at Seryna Restaurant was nothing short of exceptional. The attention to detail, exquisite flavors, and impeccable service make it a must-visit spot in Makati. I wholeheartedly recommend Seryna to anyone looking for an amazing Japanese...
Read moreThis is Japanese is not bad . Very clean atmosphere and modern . I really like the set up . What makes this place great is the atmosphere . I did hear a few Japanese customers eat so I felt confident that the restaurant would be authentic . We came in a group of 4 so we ordered a few combos.
What we had
The sashimi special for 2500 php . The reason for the higher price apparently was because of the “toro”. Despite the fact that there was toro , the toro itself wasn’t “Otoro” or it didn’t taste like it . I really wanted Otoro that night and was amazed at the cheap price since I usually don’t see toro in a sashimi platters . . To my surprise , the Otoro disappointed . It was a bit fishy and I’m not sure if the sashimi platter.
The 10 piece grill meat combo . Overall very cheap price . Less than 1000 PHP for 10 skewers with teriyaki sauce on the side . The meat itself was grilled perfectly and the gizzard was really good
Tempura - 5/5 (usually good anyway ) just ordered for my child
California maki - typical , very generous for 340 as it came with Kani as well .
This place is on the cheaper side for sashimi and I should’ve known . I think this place is more known for hot meals as I saw the other tables order Japanese wagyu beers on stone grills . Overall , this place may deserve more stars but not for sashimi at all .
Overall , authentic Japanese restaurant and on the cheaper side but definitely not for premium sashimi . Will come back again if I’m the mood for grilled Japanese food or wagyu
Service was top notch and extra star for that .

Read moreGood alternative from another Japanese resto that I usually visit within the area 😊 Love the Japanese ambience as well. We were able to reserve a table by calling their number around 30 mins before, surprisingly they reserved us tatami-style seats which I enjoyed. We arrived at 6:30pm on a Sunday and there were still free seats available.
We ordered the following: Spicy Salmon Sashimi (₱370) - suggest to order this since price point is at par with the serving size and can be shared between 2pax Wakame salad (₱460) - we were actually expecting the other type of wakame salad / wakame stems but this is okay for palate cleanser Signature Salmon Roll (₱440) - must try :) I really like the salmon skin addition to the sushi roll and the crunch in every bite Salmon Don (₱690) - like the usual salmon rice bowl with thin salmon sashimi slices Hotate / Japan Scallop (₱430) - okay for me but my boyfriend liked it and said it was fresh :) Goten Mori (₱1050) - unfortunately one (or two?) of the sashimi in our order was not available at the time, so they asked if we were okay replacing it to which I appreciated. They were also apologetic about the situation.
The servers were also friendly and accommodating during our visit compared to the other Japanese restaurant we usually go to in Little Tokyo 😊 Looking forward to visit the restaurant again for my...
