Tried this 5 month old Doner shop in Poblacion. Visible on Gen Luna because of its bright red signage and facade.
Helmed by Chef Cengiz Aydogan from Turkey, he is partnered with Heiner, a German active investor. Together, they offer German and Turkish Doner in beef or chicken form. Their bestseller and Chef's recommendation is their Lahmacun or Turkish flatbread quite similar to a pizza that you can fold or use as a wrap to hold vegetables and Doner fillings.
Food - 5*, ordered a German Beef Doner, large (₱390), Turkish Beef Wrap, large (₱390), Lahmacun (₱295), Hummus with Pita (₱295) and for drinks a salty Ayran (₱150) and a Mango Ayran (₱200).
Thoroughly enjoyed the German Beef Doner and would highly recommend it together with the Lahmacun Flatbread.
First time to try the Salty Ayran or yogurt drink which foreigners usually order and slowly developed a liking for it. Locals go for the sweeter and familiar tasting Mango Ayran.
Service -5*, excellent service and rapport with Deniece, Chef Jun, Jimmy and Joy. Made our meal enjoyable and stay pleasant.
Parking - 3*, better to ask the help of...
Read moremust-visit for anyone craving authentic flavors. Even during its soft opening, the place leaves a good impression. The first thing you notice is the young, hyped atmosphere, and then you spot two perfectly well-done wheels of shawarma, instantly making you realize you’ve arrived at a truly authentic spot. The fresh bread is made by the chef-owner himself, who clearly knows how to deliver quality.
We didn’t have to wait long for our food, which was a plus. We ordered the beef pita doner and a shawarma chicken wrap, and both dishes exceeded our expectations. The beef was tender, flavorful, and perfectly sliced, finally bringing authentic shawarma taste to the Philippines. The fresh, soft bread made the experience even better.
Their delicious sauces elevate the dishes, take flavors to perfection. If you’re in Makati, this spot is a must-try. Even if you’re a bit far, it’s worth the drive—you won’t be...
Read moreFood was good and the chef was genuinely nice and welcoming, but the female server was extremely disrespectful and unprofessional.
She hovered and pestered us for our order even after we said we’d call her when ready, despite us being the only customers at the time. She interrupted our conversation to tell us to eat before the food got cold, which felt unnecessary. Later, as the restaurant filled, we were already moving our bags (placed on the couch when it was empty) when she snapped, “Baba nyo po, wala kayo sa bahay” (“Put your bags down, you’re not at home”) in a condescending tone.
She was also friendlier with male customers and even answered another table arrogantly about payment options, saying, “We accept cash, card, you name it, we have it.”
This level of rudeness ruined what could’ve been a pleasant meal experience uncomfortable enough for us to leave.
