We tried Mystery Manila to have fun while were having vacation here in the Philippines. In one of their room, we solved the clues and was able to unlock the other room. The only problem was the door. It was not opening even after we unlocked it. We asked for help because we thought we probably didnât get things right. The staff was nice and helped us but it took time for the staff to realized that we ALREADY unlocked the room and it was just a technical error on their side. They are supposed to watch the CCTV to see if there are problems so we thought they would know if there was an error. When she found out about it she busted the door to open and gave us additional 10 minutes but we actually solved the first clue for only about 5-10 minutes of our stay inside the room. So it felt a bit unfair on our side because we probably have more time left if there were no technical issues or if they have seen us already from the beginning (it took time for the staff to attend to us when we called for help). To the staffs, maybe it will be better to have someone check the cctv for the whole game time so you guys can see if the players are doing the things correctly or if there were technical errors and also of course for safety reasons too. The fun that we were expecting was a bit spoiled but the...

Also, we played debby's doll, and the uv light you provided is draining fast! You need to at least provide 1 flashlight and 1 uv light so more players can play and look for more clues... we are stuck as we can't see anything in pitch black! We can't do anything as we can't see anything at all. The only light apart from the uv light is the light coming from the tv monitor... It really sucks!
We played in Breakout as well last week. It was dark, but they provided some decent lighting for the ambiance of the game. We managed to play and enjoy at Breakout.
But with Mystery Manila, it's a big disappointment.
A waste of your money.
And your trainee Jewel doesn't take our corrective criticism. She dismissed our comments immediately. She needs to be trained so much more! We are disappointed customers and she at least needs to hear us out.
In fact we aren't even shouting. We are talking to her calmly about our concerns, and she's a major disappointment in our experience at mystery...
Read moreI've been to other escape rooms and this by far is the least challenging.
For how much it cost, I was expecting to go through at least 4 rooms to escape. It isn't really about escaping but more about opening locked chest drawers or small chest boxes.
For a horror themed room, it also wasn't that scary either.
The clues weren't good enough and it's more about finding "clues" with no connection to the plot of the story. (It would make much more sense if they relate to the plot so the experience is more immersive.)
We encountered an issue that took most of our time: the UV torch wasn't working. Lol naturally we thought it was part of the game that it was malfunctioning. đđđ
Also, horror rooms could be dark but still with light that would help you see....
They really built up our hype only to be let down by the room. đđâ ïžâ ïžâ ïž The haunted doll wasn't even there đ
Anyway, this could have a lot of potential if only they'll be willing...
