Tiny place that easily gets full but the acoustics are good and service is excellent. Here's a rundown of what we tried:
Rosemary Honey Margarita packs a real punch. It's spicy, sour and feels like what should have been the cure for covid during the 2020 pandemic. Every sip was an adventure in itself. It's very addictive.
Peach Cilantro was unremarkable. Tasted like soda with a peach finish.
Mix and match soft tacos (al pastor and fish) Fish tacos: Fried fish couldve been smaller and more pico de galo to make it more cohesive. As it was, it was like eating fish and chips (minus the chips)
Al Pastor: 100000/100. Flavor bomb worth coming back for. Im not a pineapple girlie but I barely even noticed it was there. Everything went so well together and they are very generous with the meat on this one.
Beef Birria: Not a fan of birria in general. Tasted like beef grilled cheese. Nothing special.
Definitely making it a point to come back for the rosemary margarita and al...

If you want mexican food, this is the place to go. Love their burrito and the dirty beef birria.
For the burrito, it’s flavorful and the wrap wasn’t thick. The rice inside is soft and there’s a perfect combination of meat and beans. It comes with 3 sauces (salda verde, lime, chipotle) but it’s better if you’ll still request for spicy sauce to level up the taste.
For birria, there’s really a generous amount of beef. Love the taste, not too salty, and satisfying. It’s also better if you add spicy stuff in it.
They gave us complimentary nachos, which is good. However, few selections for the happy hour haha.
The only thing I don’t like i don’t like about this is I can’t choose my seat! :( they didn’t give us the couch and they said it’s reserved, but we finished and no people showed up. The place isn’t that big too.
But overall, will still go back and definitely try...
Read moreThis is our first time at their Makati branch, been regulars of the BF Paranaque resto for some time now. Attended a brunch birthday party here on a Sunday morning, so the food served was not exactly what you would see in their regular menu. We were served a deconstructed chicken burrito, breakfast tapa, huevos rancheros, and their forever staple nachos. What more can I say? Everything we've tried, whether in BF or Makati, is/was always excellent! Downside? The place is too small! 😜 We've heard that service can be a bit lacking during peak hours, but every new establishment goes through growing pains. Just give them ample time to rectify the kinks in their system. The owners are dedicated to their craft, I'm positive La Guada will continue to grow and have success no matter where they...
