Update: 22 Aug 2025 The day after paying for the 55,000-peso wine, Mr. Amado, the owner of Lusso, personally reached out to me several times by phone and email. He offered a sincere apology and even proposed to refund the cost of the wine. When I asked, he explained that the wine truly was worth the price charged. I told him I wasn’t asking for a refund, but rather that the staff receive better training. He promised to improve employee education and overall service standards. Because of his professional and trustworthy attitude, I’ve decided I will continue dining at Lusso. In the end, this is a restaurant with an excellent owner who truly cares about his guests.
Original: 21st Aug 2025 I ordered a bottle of red wine priced around 5,000 pesos. The staff brought two bottles of red wine and asked me which one I preferred, so I chose the one I liked. Afterwards, he brought a different bottle and recommended it to me. Naturally, I assumed it was in the same price range, so since he was recommending it, I agreed. He did mention the price at that time, but the restaurant was noisy and I was talking with my friends, so I missed what he said.
When the bill came, I was shocked to see that the total for three adults exceeded 80,000 pesos. I asked about the wine price and discovered that they had charged 55,000 pesos for a single bottle. Since I was with friends and I had already agreed to the change, I did not complain on the spot and instead returned to the hotel.

We started with a selection of delightful appetizers: the Salmon Roe and Prosciutto Barquillos were light, creamy, and the perfect bite-sized starters. The Truffle Fries were also worth mentioning because the truffle sauce was beautifully balanced; it wasn't greasy or overpowering. The Deviled Eggs were flavorful with a delightful kick.
As a pasta lover, I couldn't resist their Spinach-Crab Ravioli and the Luxe Mac and Cheese. The ravioli was cooked perfectly al dente, and the crab filling was both delightful and satisfying. The Mac and Cheese was perfectly toasted on top, also cooked al dente, and had a creamy, well-balanced sauce. Everyone at the table raved about their orders as well which included the Lobster Bisque, Chilean Sea Bass, Lamb Shank Ossobuco, and Portobello Mushroom.
For my drink, I opted for their Negroni Spagliato. While I'm not usually a Negroni person, this one was done beautifully. It was refreshingly light, clear, and had just the right amount of sweetness.
Lusso capped off the lovely evening with perfect desserts. They even brought out a birthday cake slice for me, which was a lovely touch.
