When we had our check -in we were late for an hour. Going out of our vehicle we were immediately assisted by Paulo. He was courteous and polite while greeting us. We insisted that we can carry our own luggages but he insiste dn that he'll us until we reached the desk. While Lanie helped us with the luggages and even helpful to take our photos as we checke-in had our welcome drinks and she even used the stairs so she can welcome us in our 2 triple rooms that we got. I can even see how she was panting when she used the stairs so she can meet us on on the elevator. Very hardworking. Both Paulo and Lanie showed excellent service in their area. Speciallmthanks to Pal and April for their very accommodating, courteous and warm welcome to our family.||When we reached our room, we saw the printed birthday greeting with personalized cake and folded towels of cake with candle and the dog towel which ahiwed the peraonal touch of the hotel with their guests. We are all so grateful with the beautiful personal greetings for my 2 boys and my grandson dog. Thank you very much housekeeping and marketing department for the surprise greeting. I didn't expect that this will be as beautiful as I requested. You truly made it so great with the personal touch.||Our room was so relaxing, cold and so beautiful. The bed was so comfy. We had enough towels and toiletries was also available. Room Sevice was excellent. All requests was served well especially food and drinks are made delicious and tasty. Thank you to all the head chef and cook plus the bartender. All food and drinks served was excellent. We were able to rest well in our room. Thank you so much.||After resting we had our dinner at the roofdeck. We truly wnjoyed the lights and table set-up. Promos are inpressive as we had our requested drinks. Thank you to your bartender for creating mocktails for me. My children enjoyed the night with the cocktails promo and my husband enjoyed the unlimited beer for 3 hours. All food served was excellent. Delicious and Tasty. We truly enjoyed our dinner. We stayed at the roofdeck at 7pm till 12am. My daughter even invited her officemates and their balikbayan boss from UK, I heard from mu daughter that they enjoed the night at the restaurant rhough they want to koin us at the roofdeck they had ro stay at the resto because his officemate brought with him his kid. Because they just came from a dinner meeting they truly enjoyed the drinks and pica pica at the restaurant. They stayed at the resto at 10pm to 1pm. Thank you for the great service. I had to fetch her for our dinner. She truly enjoyed her massage because I saw her deep sleep. I asked Lanie is she done with the massage. She told me, my daughter was sleeping the whole time. She allowed her to sleep a few minutes while she was preparing her tea. When my daughter met us at the roofdeck dining her first words was I am great time relaxing and sleeping. She truly enjoyed the whole body massage. Thank you Lanie for giving my daughter a great time.||We had a good sleep, We received our wake up call for my breakfast reservation. Twas a good food as we had a Chicken Tocino Silog. Then we went to our 11:30-am to 12:30pm jacuzzi schedule. We were dxpecting someone will be there but maybe because the hitel was fully booked most of the employees are attending to them. One thing we just observed is that the control of the heater wasnt working because the shower was too hot. The control wasn't working that's why you cannot shower properly. I just hope you can check on that. But its just a small detail that you need to check. Other than that, the jaccuzi was really relaxing. Instagramable to take pictures because the area is so colorful and beautiful.||Thank you to all the great management team and great staff and employees. I really WANT to love this place, especially based on reviews, most things are great, staff are generally friendly and happy but there's some not great things that spoils the experience.

I came for 7 nights, so I'll summarise. I booked and paid ahead, paid over the local rates so I expected normal reasonable hotel service. I don't expect luxury, just a clean comfortable place to sleep.

First night I killed 9 roaches, but this is Philippines, so don't be surprised. Was not a reoccurring issue.

My room was generally clean when I arrived, and everything worked well. Aircon is good, I never needed to adjust it. TV works, but I hardly used it. There is gym and massage services on site, must be booked per hour. The food that I ate there was tasty, fresh. Breakfast is light selection, and from 7am. Kitchen is open until midnight fyi.

Issues are that towels were NOT changed once, my room was NEVER cleaned, toilet paper was nearly done when I arrived. I had to ask for new toilet paper on day 2, and new towels on day 3. Was told that housekeeping (on floor 5) WILL NOT enter my ROOM without me present, I have no idea why, was never explained to me, so I needed to pickup from reception that day. Honestly, I expected basic housekeeping. That day I stayed nearby for this reason, and came back early afternoon for the towels. I was told when I came back that housekeeping put them in the room already, so waste of my time on that. WiFi is by voucher codes only available at reception, so you need to go there EVERY day to get a code for EACH device, I'm not sure about this system but ok.

Some staff, like a young girl (I won't name) at reception are unhelpful (towel drama and every other interaction with her), and give flat unhelpful answers, then stare at you, so you have to ask more, then more flat unhelpful answers. Just TELL ME, explain, don't be weird and awkwardly stare at me.

There are other staff like "Pal" who is an ABSOLUTE LEGEND helpful gem, friendly, informative, super amazing guy. He helped me setup my local sim, told me everything I needed without asking, was bubbly and friendly, greeted me warmly by my name every time I saw him, and he is employee of the year in my opinion. Promote this man.

Mamser! @Unwnd what an unexpected surprise!

After being dropped off at a carendaria around the corner only for them to be closed, we started walking when the heavens opened up and the rain to start pouring down! 🌧️ 🌧️ 🌧️Take cover!

Standing there looking at Google maps, deciding where to go to get out of the rain, we decided to run around the corner and not 2 doors away we ran into Mamser located at UNWND. Welcomed by the friendly security guard, we were ushered in to a half full restaurant sourounded by friendly banter, laughs and the sound of happy birthday cheers to a guy on the table next to us. 🎂

Our drinks came out first and what beautiful smiles by the waitress and bar staff. Very attentive. 😉

After reading the menu we decided on sizzling bulalo steak which was oh so tender with the most masarap gravy poured over the top and the Lehon's Lechon with a side of garlic rice. As the waiters brought the food out, the chef followed to ensure the gravy was poured perfectly onto the sizzling plate as he explained the dish to us.

Wow! What a pleasant surprise watching the team all work together to make sure we had everything we needed.

The 2 main dishes with garlic rice was plentiful for the 2 of us.

After the first mouthful my favourite saying "everything happens for a reason" came into play. Mouth bursting with flavour, can't wait for the second bite! What an extraordinary display of food. Well cooked, well presented and well devoured! 😂

Chef Juno came back out later to see how we enjoyed the meal and we could not have been happier. Masarap Chef Juno.

After getting the bill and leaving a tip of course, we proceeded out into the rainy foyer only to be greeted by Romejo who is the new GM for UNWND (I hope I got the title right). Yet another amazing member of staff with nothing but smiles, great conversation and a thanks for being able to have hosted us for the meal and of course welcomed us back again soon.

I am so impressed with the amazing staff, the relaxed environment and food to die for! Oh and wait till you see the main entry doors! OMG! They are beautiful! Almost as beautiful as the staff.
