Cafe Mediterranean at Power Plant: A Dinner Worth Repeating (Even Without the Tabouleh)

Dinner at Cafe Mediterranean in Power Plant Mall was a mix of comfort, chaos, and culinary charm.

Let’s get the small quirks out of the way first: the place wasn’t exactly quiet—think more bustling than serene. And oddly, no comfort room inside the resto (a bit of a plot twist for a sit-down dinner). Seating? Hit or miss. Not all chairs come with cushions, so choose wisely unless you enjoy dining like a Spartan.

But here’s where the experience turned around: the service was exceptional. Despite the full house, the waiters were consistently attentive. My mom and I never once felt neglected—our needs were met with genuine care and patience. When they broke the news that they were out of Tabouleh (which, to be honest, was one of my main reasons for going), I wasn’t even upset. That’s how well they handled it. They made me understand instead of just inform—a rare skill in hospitality.

Now for the food highlights—because wow: • The Falafel? Crispy on the outside, soft and flavorful inside. Hands down the star of the night. • The Ratatouille soup? Warm, soothing, and exactly what you’d want on a day that needed a hug in a bowl. • Their Hummus is truly to die for—smooth, nutty, and perfectly balanced. • And my mom’s Grilled Tuna was a clean, satisfying hit. She was all smiles.

True, meals here are on the pricier side, but with quality this good and service this thoughtful, they’re absolutely worth it.

In short, while the ambiance could use a little softening, and I still low-key mourn the Tabouleh, the warm service and stellar dishes made this a dinner to remember. Definitely coming back. Hopefully next time, with Tabouleh on...

I recently visited The Cafe Mediterranean in Rockwell Powerplant Mall and had a great dining experience. The mixed kebab platter and biryani rice that my friends and I ordered were absolutely delicious and flavorful. The standout element of our dining experience, however, was the exceptional service provided by the staff. They were attentive, accommodating, and even went out of their way to suggest getting some wine from another restaurant when they didn't have red wine available. This really made us feel valued as customers and we appreciated their efforts.

While the ambiance at The Cafe Mediterranean may not be as unique or distinctive as a standalone restaurant, it still provided a comfortable and pleasant dining atmosphere. The location within a mall also made it convenient for us to visit after some shopping.

Overall, I highly recommend The Cafe Mediterranean for those looking for a restaurant with delicious food and exceptional service. The staff's attention to detail and effort to provide excellent customer service really made our dining...

Food is exquisite, service is sub par. No staff attending to entering/would be customers (watched a family come and leave to another restaurant as no one was attending to them). We asked for a table for three and we were only greeted with a nod and nothing else. We sat, we waited, and nothing. We needed to catch the attention of one of the servers just to get our menus. Wrong food came in, different from what we ordered despite the server repeating our orders correctly beforehand, thus doubling the waiting time for us to eat. We also needed to ask for our take out twice before it was given. The amazing food this restaurant serves deserves a much better service from the staff. Definitely has a lot of room for improvement. Also, servers don't know the correct...

My family missed the mediterranean foods and we're fortunate to find one here in PowerPlant mall as it's been years since I came here so I can't remember all the restaurants here anymore. They serve mixed Turkish, Greek, Arabic, American and Italian cuisines. Our favourites are always the pita bread with different dip layers such as hummus and falafel. Of course, the Kebab and Greek salad are always on our favourite list. The service of the foods are quite fast though although their billing took ages as they missed our bill on their table as we were waiting for ages. On a good side, this is a good experience for us except the slow billing service.
