It was one of those days that I was craving for some Chinese food. Even if it’s not peak hours it was still packed with customers. Good thing there were no lines yet so we were seated right away. Majority of the tables were filled. Their service was slower which was understandable.
I was specifically craving for Pork Rib rice. But they had new dishes on their menu, so I opted to try it out. Ordered Steamed Minced Pork with Dried Squid rice (Php 170) and I don’t understand the taste. I wasn’t able to figure out where the dried squid flavor went. Then for the pork minced it tasted like Chinese beef patty. I regretted my order but silver lining I know what not to get on my next visit. 😅
For our additional orders: Prawn Dumpling (Php 160) steamed dumplings with fresh huge prawn chunks. A bit pricey but it was still good. Wasabi Salad Prawn Dumpling (Php 140) Our first time also to try this dish out. It was surprisingly good and the wasabi sauce gave it the right kick.
I will go back for pork buns haven’t had those for a...
Read moreWorst Tim Ho Wan branch in the PH. Of course, the food is your standard Tim Ho Wan taste, but what ruins the Megamall branch is the lack of courtesy of its servers. Serving time was excruciatingly long even when the restaurant was not even full. One particular male server when we dined here gave us an evil eye when we pointed out to him that he was carelessly placing the dishes on our table. Another lady server had the nerve to side eye me when she was the one who bumped my arm when she passed by. No apologies whatsoever on both events. Guess they think that highly of themselves.
P. S. Would not have had to post a public review had their Facebook page responded to our complaints through direct message. But whoever is taking care of that account left us at seen. For a Michelin star restaurant, they do have sub-par...

Well, I apologize, however that one crew exclaimed, ano yan natapon?! Did not even acknowledge my apology. crew in tim ho wan is something else.

Pork and Shrimp Dumpling 4pcs: 180php 5/5 my favorite siomai ever Prawn Chicken 3pcs: 180php: 3.5/5 not as juicy, but the prawn flavor saved it. Still yummy and soft, even when it is over fried. imo Iced Tea: 70php: 2/5 It's not house blend, not refreshing, but at least it is cheap and it is served in tall big glass. Steamed Rice 1 cup: 70php:1/5 Expensive. @_@
