So many people in queue even 2 hrs before opening time. Worth the price and happy with the seats they've reserved for us. While I was happy with the customer service and location, I'd say this buffet restaurant still has something to improve with their food selection and availability.

Shrimp tempura is GOLD! The tempura section was always empty, it's challenging to spot these tasty shrimps since many people really get a lot of these on their plate at one serving and I end up always empty-handed whenever I try my luck (its better to have a crew or staff to control the serving for each person because this is a very fast moving item among other dishes).

I was also expecting a wide selection of seafood however it wasn't the case. There's no coffee even. I wasn't impressed with the desserts section. There's nothing unique on the table except for small servings of leche flan, ordinary brownies, cheesecakes and "tiny" choco cupcakes. I hope they could add something unique that can justify the "world" buffet.

Compared to other buffet restaurants I've tried locally and internationally, The DADS World Buffet didn't meet my high expectations. I've also noticed the sofas or chairs that needed an upgrade since the leather are not looking nice due to wear and tear (see photo).

However, it's noteworthy to praise the customer service where we were guided to our reserved table located in a nice spot beside the window overlooking EDSA and the available food selections at this time of visit. I really enjoyed the tenderness of their meat dishes. The ginataang laing was superb, super creamy. Also their lechon, ginataang halo halo (served hot) and sweetened bananas are something to boast among filipino dishes.

Worth the price but there's room for...

Everything was unsanitary. The ceilings, the ambiance, the smell. It felt like it was in the past or something. Hindi na na-maintain yung place making it look run down. We even found a cockroach don sa rice nila. Told to the staff and kinuha naman nila yung plate. Though, they didn’t make any resolution sa nangyari.

There was a lot of food choices though compared to higher end buffets like Niu at the Podium. Probably because it offer more Filipino foods. Some of the highlights were the roast beef which I enjoyed and the Tempura. Also yung bagnet and lechon nila was really good. The others were unforgettable at best and downright bad I’d say.

The drinks/ice cream bar parang nasa rambulan lang since hindi organized and walang disiplina yung mga tao.

On the other hand, Customer Service was good. Hindi daw na-confirm yung booking namin since dapat daw may nag text sa amin from their branch confirming our reservation. I told them na wala akong natanggap sa branch nila and the only one I got was from their Message in Messenger mentioning that our reservation. Good thing they’ve let us through and acknowledged their shortcomings.

With a competitive price though, I thought it was overall okay. If you want a better experience, find...

I am excited to dine to this pioneer of buffet dining place as I visit the Philippines last February. Dad's restaurant was the 1st buffet restaurant, introduced the all-you-can-eat meals. It's interesting to know Saisaki's Japanese cuisine and Dad's restaurant was reinvented to be now Dad's World Buffet.

Dad’s, Kamayan and Saisaki Buffet has a good deal of a wide variety of Filipino favourites, Japanese cuisine, including some western and Asian food. They charged Php 998.00 for walk-in guests but with a day reservation is only Php758.00. Most balikbayan loves this place because of the varieties of sumptuous, mouth-watering Filipino food, kakanin and desserts. Japanese varieties of sushi, sashimi and best seller tempura are yummy, too. The steaks are not impressive, it’s tough and dry. Drink choices are basically soda, juice and iced tea. I hope they will consider having drink perks (like mocktails) with extra charges just so to make their drinks appealing.

Dining area is not attractive enough to give a good ambiance to diners. Servers and staffs are great. They are friendly and efficient. Unfortunately, the washroom is untidy and smelly. It’s terrible. Washroom structure needs...

I recently dined at Dad's last Sunday. It was Good naman and maganda yong seat na nakuha namin which was sa window overlooking EDSA and MRT. Yong staff nila is welcoming as usual. Wala rin masyado tao kasi during that time may bagyo e. And now, the food. Unfortunately, our excitement quickly turned to disgust. Kasi out of all the dishes na nakuha namin, 3 of those may strands ng buhok. We brought it to the staff's attention naman, they were polite and apologetic as was able to talk to the manager din. He talked to the kitchen naman. We saw him go inside the kitchen kasi malapit lang din kami duon. I understand that mistakes happen, pero three hair strands in three different meals suggest a lapse in hygiene standards kesa sa isang meal lang. Questionable talaga yong cleanliness of their kitchen altogether at that time. Verdict: DAD's is still a good place to celebrate any occassion pa rin naman. Diyaan kami lagi dati everytime may occassion kami. Pero until the management addresses these hygiene concerns siguro, I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone with an appetite muna.
