Al Makkah Restaurant: A Delicious Halal Gem in Malate Craving delicious and authentic halal food in Malate? Look no further than Al Makkah Restaurant! I recently had the pleasure of dining there and was thoroughly impressed. The owner's gracious hospitality shone through as they recommended their best sellers: biryani beef, hummus, kebab, and a sweet yogurt shake. The biryani beef was a true star. Perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection, it catered beautifully to the Filipino palate. Each bite was a delightful explosion of flavors and textures. The kebab was another winner - divinely cooked and bursting with savory goodness. The hummus was simply divine, its smooth texture and rich flavor a perfect complement to the other dishes. But the meal wouldn't have been complete without the finishing touch: the sweet yogurt shake. It was a refreshing and light counterpoint to the savory dishes, a delightful way to end the dining experience. Overall, Al Makkah Restaurant is a must-visit for anyone seeking delicious and authentic halal food in Malate. The friendly service, delicious dishes, and warm atmosphere make it a truly enjoyable dining experience. I highly recommend it!

You know you're in the right place if the joint smells like a spice market. The food is great; my go-to-menu item is always the chicken tikka sandwich (wrap). The portions are generous, and the taste, for me, is not overwhelming unlike other Arab/South Asian places I've been to. Their food is Pinoy-pallate friendly is what I'm trying to say. The owners are very hands-on and approachable, and I would have given 4/5 stars if not for their mascot. I've no pictures of the food, but I have pics of the resident chubby feline.

The servings are very good for the price. Even for the ones that cost 200+ you'll be really full from them. Service is very fast it's surprising. Not credible to talk about the quality but I really like it. The basmati rice is very flavorful and can be eaten even withoutthe protein. Atmosphere is a 3 because the smell is quite strong inside. Like it is the usual middle eastern smell but its stronger here so we choose to eat al fresco sometimes.
