First of all, upon check-in, the staff would not acknowledge me since I was an English speaking person and chose to only speak to my Filipina girlfriend, which is very rude, especially considering I was the person who booked the room and was paying for it. I received better customer service from the contracted park space provider who spoke very little English, but he at least attempted. Secondly, the room was cockroach infested. We notified the staff of this problem and they promptly came and put in traps, but it did not solve the problem during our stay. I actually had a roach fall on me when I was working at the table. We should have expected this when we read the hanging note, "Kindly wash the dishes and utensils before and after use". Thirdly, the elevators in this establishment are horrible. Their are 6 elevators to the floor, but only 2 worked going down, so you could expect 5+ minutes delay to go up or down. Breakfast was included, but we didn't know it would be delivered every morning which was a dilemma, considering I worked nights and slept during the morning. The staff will knock on your door to deliver the food and continue to knock for minutes until you wake up and answer the door. I would have asked them to stop, but the breakfast was good. Expect to pay an unexpected deposit. Upon check-out, I received the same rudeness and neglect from another staff member and the same kindness from the unaffiliated parking...
Read moreFor a place that's expensive, naturally you'd think the place would also be great, right? Wrong. Sure, the outside of the place looks super rich and grand, with the connected bridge to the mall, tall buildings and pool, but the insides? Not so much.
The room I stayed in looked alright, it was small, but I've seen better condominiums better than this. The sofa was already broken, the plants looks like its ready to die (It's also not the tenant's responsibility to nurture it, we are here to stay and relax), pillows and comforters were dusty and had stain marks of who knows what, that wasn't washed properly, and lastly, and most importantly. The cockroaches.
I wish I wasn't kidding, the first thing I see when I opened my room was a literal cockroach greeting me. And this isnt even the end of it! When I leave my room to go downtown, I come back to see cockroaches! On the sink, by the cupboards, the drawers! Heck, I wouldn't be surprised if I saw a cockroach inside the fridge. And as I read the other review, I'm glad to know that the room I'm staying in ISNT THE ONLY ONE that's INFESTED.
TLDR; I recommend to find other condominiums to stay in. If this place has VIP rooms and you're rich enough to afford it, then go for that. Just hope you don't room with...
Read moreGreen Residences on Taft Avenue in Malate, Manila, has been a convenient and modern place for me to stay. Its location near De La Salle University makes it an excellent choice for students and professionals like me who need easy access to schools, offices, and commercial establishments.
The property offers a variety of units, from studio spaces to one-bedroom apartments, catering to different needs. I appreciate the amenities, especially the outdoor swimming pool, fitness center, and study areas, which provide a good balance of relaxation and productivity. Having a Savemore Market right on the ground floor is a huge plus, making it easy to grab daily essentials without leaving the building.
Getting around is also hassle-free, with the Vito Cruz and Quirino LRT stations just a short walk away. Plus, the nearby restaurants, cafés, and shops make the urban lifestyle even more enjoyable. However, I have noticed a few downsides—elevator wait times can be frustrating, especially during peak hours, and security protocols could be improved.
Overall, Green Residences offers a great living experience with its prime location and solid amenities. While there are areas for improvement, I find it a convenient and comfortable place to stay in the...
