Angel's Pizza - Malate — Restaurant in Manila

I had an incredibly disappointing experience with ANGELS PIZZA-MALATE BRANCH. I placed my order at 5:10 PM and was promised delivery by 6:45 PM. However, my pizza didn't arrive until 8 PM—more than an hour late!

To make matters worse, when I called to check on the status of my order at the hotline, the first call center agent was unhelpful and unapologetic. They put me on hold for 10 minutes, so I dropped the call. I called again because I didn't know if I was waiting for nothing or for how long. They still couldn't provide a clear explanation for the delay.

I asked them to cancel my order and refund my payment, so the agent told me to wait for the call from ANGELS’S PIZZA-MALATE BRANCH, as he forward to them my complaints, but there’s no any call from them at all & they still delivered the pizza.

When the pizza finally arrived, it was a bit cold, clearly having sat around for quite some time. This was supposed to be an enjoyable meal, but it turned into a frustrating ordeal. Was pleasantly surprised with Angel's Pizza, didn't expect great pizza combinations that deliver the right punch. Angel's Pizza was established in 2009 with ex-Domino employees that's why initial flavors were very "Domino-esque."

Now, it is the income leader in Jerry Liu's FCG (Figaro Coffee Group) of restaurants which include the flagship Figaro Coffee acquired from Chit Juan, Angel's Pizza formerly Zuriel Pizza, Tien Ma's and Cafe Portofino. Angel's accounts for 91% of FCG's business. Currently, they have 41 branches which they intend to expand by 35 more by end-2024-5.

Food - 5*, before their Creamy Spinach Dip was my favorite now I have added their Creamy Sushi to the list. It has the right umami creaminess and zing to keep me getting another slice. I availed of their ₱990 promo which entitles you to 2 14" pizzas. We got the equally satisfying and scrumptious Texas All-Meat with a hint of barbecue sauce. We also got their liter of Cucumber Lemonade (₱140) and Banana Langka Pies.

Service - 4*, generally efficient. We got the right orders and delivered hot 'n fresh.

This afternoon i ordered here angels pizza malate at 2:30pm and they said it will arrived 3:50pm when they called me yes its understandable the rider arrived 4pm but the worst is I already paid it in online then when it arrived the rider said I will pay my order cash. But I said to the rider I already paid it online. Then the worst is my pizza arrived 1box only even I have a an APC Card, I ordered 2box but only 1box arrived they said to me they will deliver immediately the 1 box pizza lacking. They call me and I said to the service the 1 box arrived here is not thin crust I ordered thin crust and the service called said ok we will change it immediately. I confirmed to her that pizza came for the 2nd chance is 2box and thin crust.
