Disclaimer: Not a food blogger but my palate knows, as well as my hotel background can vouch for it. Didn't take any pix as it will tell another story but reality will speak the truth.
👉 Restaurant place itself needs a SERIOUS refurbishment. There's a section where that familiar roaches infestation smell. I didn't noticed if they have a fly catcher either, as the flies are feasting on the food before we do!! The floor of the resto is sticky as well as the toilet. I wonder if they ever do deep cleaning??
👉 Some plates has food residues not properly cleaned or they were in a hurry not bothered about it??
👉 Observed a staff replenishing the table set up, touched his nose then continued. The staff should either wear gloves or should be holding the cutlery kept in a table napkin and be conscious with any movement that can compromise "hygiene".
👉 I was hesitant to dine in this restaurant due to the roaches issue read on some of the reviews. However when we came there was no roaches, though the smell tells it all. Especially by the salad area as you approach. Since this is a tandem of 3 known and reputable restaurants the selection is huge for it's price. The meat is cold only the sauce is hot, the Chef is not generous either. In general the food is not hot and there's nothing special about it. I believe they lost their touch how it used to tastes good. Icecream section should be assisted by one of the buffet attendant, for "hygiene" purposes. Side story, one customer complained about the ginataan, have to ask her what happened as I have eaten it. Apparently she found a piece of steel wool in it. My pre-empted expectations could have been better if the food were hot at least.
👉 Staff were just fine, some not responsive...
Read moreThe food itself was fairly average—nothing particularly outstanding, though the refills were done promptly, which was appreciated. Unfortunately, the service and customer care left much to be desired.
Before dining, I reached out through their Messenger account to confirm whether GCash payments were accepted. I was assured that they were. However, when it came time to pay, I was abruptly informed that GCash was not allowed. I have been asking for clarification for several days now, but their replies have been vague and inconsistent, showing no clear protocol or standard procedure for addressing customer concerns. This kind of miscommunication is frustrating, especially since I was given a “rest assured” guarantee beforehand. Had I not brought my card, the situation could have become unnecessarily stressful.
To add to the discomfort, there was a party or private function happening at the same time, which gave us the feeling that we were intruding on someone else’s reception. The noise level was very high, making it difficult to enjoy the meal in peace.
Cleanliness was another major concern. The dining area had a noticeable number of cockroaches, which is highly unsettling and unacceptable in any food establishment. This raises serious questions about hygiene and food safety standards. Even if the food is replenished quickly, the presence of pests and lack of proper sanitation completely undermines the dining experience.
Overall, while the food and refill service were passable, the poor communication, lack of customer care, disruptive dining environment, and alarming cleanliness issues leave much to be desired. Clearer policies, stricter hygiene practices, and a stronger focus on customer service are...
