Jollibee — Restaurant in Manila

I recently ordered via Jollibee App (the new version) for three people. I know that the waiting time is between 30-45 minutes. However, we have waited for more than an hour and as per the app, they're 'still looking for a rider'. The store has confirmed my order naman. I had to call the hotline to find out how to cancel but unfortunately I will have to call the branch so they can cancel the order for me. What was so stressful was that I tried calling three different numbers of the branch (09055425280, 8524-0631, and 82534967). It only rang and rang and rang. No one was answering. How I got my order? I went to the branch myself to pick it up, showed them my order ID so they could search it from their end. They said they just "received" the order. But the app said it was already confirmed by the store an hour ago though. They said that the system from the jollibee app is slow, that next time I should order via grab or foodpanda instead. Ok so the app was slow, but I called their branch more 50 times and no one answered. If one could have answered my call, they'd have been informed someone was ordering from the app. I would have provided them them my Order ID. We wouldn't have waited more than an hour and I wouldn't have walked to your branch. It would have been resolved quickly. If the numbers provided weren't the correct ones, then shouldn't you have updated that? When I got back to the hotel, my child was already sleeping from hunger. My goodness.

Overall the place is clean and orderly.

The lines are quite long when we were there, weekday at around 3pm. There are only two, of four, cashier available to take orders.

Their restroom is okay, typical of fast foods Resto.

The atmosphere is okay, the entrance is big and there's a wheelchair accessible entrance. Although, on busy days and when it's raining. It's not very easy to get in. There will be other Jollibee that's better.

On their food, of course it great. They continously add and remove some of their menu items to keep it current. But the basics are always there. Chicken, burgers, pies, sundae, and fries. The amount of food it just right for the price you pay, some menu items are affordable others are quite expensive.

I was with a senior citizen and we've waited long time for them to call our cue. When we've decided to make a follow up, it seems that they are not aware of our order, that was the only time they prepared our food and even asked if what was the drink. I told the crew that it was in the receipt they should know. One more thing, there was a man pretending to be a security guard who opens the doors for the customers and acts as if he was working inside the store. The man was wearing t-shirt, shorts and slippers so I was quite uncomfortable. He was looking in our table near the door that makes me more uncomfortable and alert. When we were about to leave the restaurant he held his palm and said "Barya lang po hinihingi namin dito". So I suggest that they must hire a legit security guard in...
