My visit to Romantic Baboy at SM City San Lazaro was an enjoyable culinary escapade that left a positive impression. The cozy ambiance and attentive staff immediately set the stage for a pleasant dining experience. The restaurant's unique concept of unlimited Korean barbecue with a romantic twist added an interesting touch to the meal.

The array of meats, from succulent pork belly to marinated cuts, was of good quality and tasted fresh. The highlight was the marinades that added depth to the flavors. The grill at the center of the table provided an interactive element, making the meal both engaging and delicious.

While the majority of dishes were delightful, a couple lacked the same level of refinement, preventing me from awarding a full 5 stars. Additionally, at times, the service could have been a bit swifter during the busier hours.

In terms of value, Romantic Baboy offers a reasonably priced experience considering the all-you-can-eat offering. If you're seeking a unique and satisfying Korean barbecue experience in a comfortable setting, Romantic Baboy is definitely...

For starters, let’s talk about the food. The side dishes were only 4 unlike some other samgyupsal places that have at least 6. The meat choices were alright and nothing out of the ordinary. However, the one thing I have a problem with was that the 549 unlimited option doesn’t come with any complimentary drinks other than water as well. Their egg omelette was good on the other hand.

The service would have been alright if there weren’t several instances wherein the empty dishes used for the meat servings weren’t snatched from our hands, just a simple excuse me would’ve been enough but they didn’t give so much as a glance. Another thing is we keep getting dishes that we didn’t order.

Talking atmosphere, our seat kept getting dripped on by...

The place is too crowded (even though pandemic restrictions were relaxed). There was no social distancing.

Their food is good. They serve food that is fit for the price, and they don't have time limit (as of the time I went there with friends). The staff are amicable and they even sung happy birthday for my friend who's celebrating her day. Although, the staff can forget you and your orders since the crowd and ambiance is hectic.

They have a clean bathroom. And they clean up their place. It's also easy to access and is near places you can hang out with friends even at wee hours...

Second time to eat in this place. I understand why the place is always on wait. Concept is simple enough, you cook what you eat. Some banchans were served ( radish, japchae, fishcake, kimchi, egg, lettuce) you need to ask for the cheese dip. 4 kinds of sauce for dipping your cooked meat in. Over all an enjoyable meal. Never mind you leaving the place smelling like pork barbecue. Oh , you can order Cha Tu Chak milktea as well. ( billed seperately). Parking is a problem. You can however, park in SM San Lazaro and cross over to RomBab. They accept cash and Gcash payments only. No credit card.

This samgyup is alternative hack if you are in SM san lazaro and plan to eat samgyup in sumo niku but you need to wait more than an hour. Here in Romantic Baboy you dont need to wait if you will eat outside. It is the same with other Samgyup with a good service, they have a nice crew that always there to assist you and to change the grill time to time, they also offer you Cha Tuk Chak tea (150php), I suggest Blue Berry fruit trea or Lemon tea.

Pros: Charcoal Grill adds an extra layer of smokiness Generous use of spices so you'll taste the variety of each order Side dishes are just as amazing as the main meat (Sweet Potato especially) Worth the money Efficient & Polite Staff (They sometimes forget our orders but that's understandable during rush hours and high customer volume) Cons: They either run out of sweet potatoes or just didn't want to serve us anymore.
