Cafe Mary Grace - SM City San Lazaro — Restaurant in Manila

My visit to Mary Grace Café at SM City San Lazaro left much to be desired, warranting a 2 out of 5 rating. The initial impression was positive, with the café's cozy atmosphere and charming decor setting a pleasant tone. However, the experience quickly took a downturn. The service was notably lacking, with slow response times from the staff and a general sense of disorganization.

The menu promised an array of delectable treats, yet the execution fell short. The food quality was inconsistent, ranging from mediocre to below average. The pasta dish I ordered was overcooked and lacked the promised burst of flavors. Even worse, the serving size didn't justify the relatively steep prices.

Additionally, the café seemed to struggle with maintaining a clean environment. Tables were not promptly cleared, and the overall cleanliness left much to be desired.

While Mary Grace Café held promise initially, my experience was marred by subpar service, underwhelming food, and a lack of attention to cleanliness. It's unfortunate that a café with potential failed to deliver an enjoyable...

the food was good, the staff were not. tried calling the servers many times to get our bill but was ignored. when FINALLY got the attention of a server to pay, we waited for so long for her to comeback that we had to actually GO TO HER to follow up and hand her our payment. and eto pa, it turns out that she forgot us 💀 we went back down to sit kasi she told us she’ll bring us the official receipt pa (and we still had change) but yet again, we WAITED FOR SO LONG that we’ve finally got so frustrated and just walked out.

felt that the staff were all snobbish and looked down on us bc we were young.

This restaurant has served not just visually appealing food to the public but they also serve delicious meals that satisfy the taste bud of their loyal and new customers. They have a wide range of pastas and other cook mealsbut one must not leave the restaurant without trying their specialty which is desert light cheesecake strawberry shortcake and other kind of cakes that they have.
