Shakey's Pizza Parlor — Restaurant in Manila

Shakey's chicken is salty for me. The service is poor. We need to call the waiter to serve us and give us the menu. Iced tea was served first. We waited for the glasses to be next. But there was nothing . We called the waiter again to give us Glasses. Our order were given in installments. Unlike other tables. It was given in one serving. Pasta came and the bread. We finished eating it. Waited for our other orders. Chicken and mojo came. We finished the chicken. No smores came. Called the waiter again about our order of smores. He came back and told us they were just preparing and forgot about smores. Ridiculous! So we opted to take out the smores. Bad experience. Wake up! ...

Shakey's pizza especially the thicker pizza is outstanding. The salads are great in addition to the menu items. The price is reasonable but get the "Supercard" for discounts off of the food and drink items. The card needs to be renewed annually however it's worth it if you frequent Shakey's. The staff are friendly and attentive. The restaurant is nicely decorated in the Shakey's motif. There are 2 big flat screens mounted on the walls showing sports or Shakey's advertising. Ordered my go-tos: Skilletti and Garlic & Cheese Pizza (thin crust, of course). The food? As expected—good and consistent. Shakey’s never really disappoints when it comes to flavors I know and love.

BUT… the service at this branch was painfully slow. And mind you, it wasn’t even full. It took way longer than usual for my order to arrive, which was frustrating since Shakey’s is usually quick and efficient. Not sure if they were understaffed or just having an off day, but it definitely dampened the experience.
