Read moreThis old chinese restaurant in remedios, manila brings back your childhood memories where your whole family and friends join you in feasting their delicious food the restaurant offers. By the way this is not your typical restaurant were there will always be a menu you could choose from, there is no menu here! You will be the one to select your own food! You will just point what you want from their glassed kitchen where there are several ingredients to choose from, then you will tell them what you would like your chosen ingredients to be. Example: you chose 1 lapu lapu, then tell them to make it a sweet and sour, or you chose shells and vegetables and tell them to stir fry it or make it a soup. in other word Bahala ka sa gusto mo! 😂😂 kidding aside, this restaurant is famous because it has been around since 1985! and their price here is cheaper that the usual chinese restaurants in the metro. By the way this restaurant's famous food is their sipa!, a fried dumpling with some ground pork and vegetables inside. You should never miss that when you try this awesome chinese...

Yang Chow Fried Rice: This was served lukewarm, like it was fried well in advance and sitting for a while before it was served to us. Wouldn't order again.
Sipa: I love these and would order them every time.
Buttered Chicken: Flavor was good, but 1 of the pieces was very raw. Luckily I saw the blood running into the plate before I bit into it, so I opened it up and yep, raw chicken. I expected the dish to be comped for free, or at least discounted, because 20% of the dish was inedible, but nothing was done about it, barely an apology.
Chili Pork Spareribs: This was decent. I was expecting salt and pepper pork but it wasn't that.
Overall, food can be hit or miss, but fair at this price point. The way they handled the raw chicken incident was a turnoff...
