We had an enjoyable evening at Urban Crab Seafood Shack in Malate, Manila, though there were some areas for improvement. The seafood was fresh, and the variety offered within the unlimited deal was generous. However, we were disappointed to learn on the day of our reservation that the large crabs, which we’d been particularly looking forward to, were not included in the offer. It would have been much appreciated if we’d been informed about this ahead of time, as it was a big part of why we chose the restaurant for our group booking.

Additionally, while the seafood was certainly fresh, we found it a bit bland and could have used more seasoning or sauces to enhance the flavours. Despite these minor issues, the overall atmosphere was welcoming, and the customer service team was polite, warm, and attentive from start to finish. They ensured we felt well looked after and made every effort to keep us happy, even with the changes in the menu. Their professionalism and kindness really stood out and helped us enjoy our meal and the evening.

In summary, Urban Crab Seafood Shack offers a pleasant dining experience with quality service and a wide range of seafood. Although we felt that the flavours could have been bolder and were disappointed by the unavailability of the large crabs on the unlimited menu, we left with a positive...

For a casual seafood shack they serve some seriously good seafood. Friendly and attentive staff, English spoken, cash and credit cards accepted.

They have an all-you-can-eat option that includes refills of rice, sweet iced tea, as well as the main dish itself, a medley of whole blue crabs, prawns, mussels and calamari. All served in a rich Cajun-like (Cajun-ish? Cajun-inspired? Cajun-derived?) sauce. Rice was stickier and wetter than New Orleans dirty rice but was good for eating with your hands - which you'll definitely be doing here.

Peel your own prawns, pry open your own mussels, crack your own crab - it's all self-service and no hand-holding along the way, though I'm sure they'd offer advice if you'd like it! My only disappointment is the crabs are rather small and are a lot of work for very little payoff.

The seafood comes in a rich Cajun sauce but ask for the butter garlic sauce on the side - spicy, delicious, buttery garlicosity. Fantastic!

Fortunately they provide amble wipes, plastic gloves as well as a sink to wash up in. You'll need all of it, and be...

Unli small crab, small prawns, mussels, squid -- for 699

We ordered Cajun sauce Seafood platter

Crab depending on weight, lots of prawns, squid, and mussels all that it depends on is the sauce and without the sauce those tastes bland. Not that worth going to. Unable to select the items you only want on your dish. Total waste of money. I hope the unli can be preselected to which you want to eat.

I hope they add an option to add ONLY the food that you want to eat and refrain from adding extras that make you stop eating unlimited. It feels like they are feeding non sense food to all of its unli seafood customers.

Utmost waste of money if you came to eat just a specific type of food. That is why this stall is not that very famous.

Conclusion:...

I think the food is just right for it's price. Sulit ang unli! They are very generous in the sauce and everything actually. Although their Cajun has different mix compared to common ones, but it's still good. Kudos to the staff. They're very attentive to what's happening over your table and will instantly clean your filled bowl of shells or ask if you need a refill for anything. Will definitely go back for the affordable price and good experience.
